There are still a few months before the release. As a diehard, I really hope that the movie can put aside the family ethics drama-like pattern of the prequel and really talk about what "balance of the force" is. The following are my guesses on the preview of EP8.
[Jedi Temple]
Rey handed Luke his lightsaber, but Luke didn't pick it up, instead choosing to use the force to seal himself behind a boulder. Rey and Chewbacca tried their best to remove the boulder, and Rey gave Luke his reasons outside the boulder, but to no avail. Exhausted, the two fell asleep beside the boulder, Rey saw visions through Luke's lightsaber again, and saw a young Luke duel with several ninja warriors in the rain, and an angry Luke sent out Force flames to fight the ninja warriors. Burned to ashes, Kylo fled, Snoke stood on the ship and mocked that the Skywalkers would all be slaves to the Dark Force.
Rey woke up and Luke watched.
[First Order Foundation]
Kylo was rescued by the First Order battleship and received treatment in the ship. The ship returned to the First Order base "Supremacy" and was greeted not by Snoke, but by two guards. Crazy attacked Kylo, Snoke's voice came from behind the guard, he wanted Kylo to answer questions about Solo and Rey under conditioned reflex. The guard's armor blocked all Force control, and Kylo struggled to answer all of Snoke's questions while fighting.
Snoke stopped the guard and walked down the steps himself, telling Kylo that he had learned the ultimate secret about the Force, related to Kylo's grandfather Vader, who he hoped could teach Kylo to complete his training. But before imparting it, he needs to make sure that Kylo is absolutely loyal, and he needs Kylo to do one important thing for the First Order: beheading the Resistance.
[Resistance Army Base]
The New Republic was destroyed. The Resistance Army needs to reconvene the planets of the Federation to form a new parliament. However, quite a few planets have already witnessed the terror of the First Order. touch. At this time, Leia thought of Solo's business partner Koosha. After winning the Battle of Jakku, he occupied the empire's armory and most of the minerals, and incorporated many of Jabba's old subordinates to form a new gang. Most of the planets in the galaxy have Doing business with him, the First Order has something to do with him.
The resistance group has been trying to avoid getting involved with this gangster, but Leia knew that many of the resistance's equipment came from Koosha's place
. The back of the island - the Jedi Temple. Luke is not the only person on the island. They also met the natives who have been guarding here for hundreds of years. They can sense the force and know that Rey is not a dark force, so they took Rey and Chewbacca to visit the Jedi Temple.
They told Rey that Luke used to visit them often and teach them how to protect themselves - they used to be servants of the Jedi Temple, but now they are masters here, but they don't know any defense technology, and Luke worries that one day there will be The Dark Forces have found this place to steal its secrets, so they need to be armed. The natives told Rey that Luke liked to meditate in the old tree in the temple. Before leaving, the native asked Rey who his parents were. Rey said that he had been abandoned in Jakku when he was very young and had forgotten what his parents looked like. Indigenous said: I can feel your powerful force, but whoever created you is irresponsible.
Rey came to the old tree, and there was a huge hole in the root of the tree. Rey got into the hole and found that it was where Luke was meditating. There were three books on the wall, Light, Dark, Luke's Diary. Rey picked up Luke's diary and began to plunge into his memories.
(Reminiscence 1) Luke wanted to find the willpower-sensitive people in the galaxy to rebuild the Jedi Order, Solo entrusted his son to Luke for training. At the same time, Luke was fascinated by the legend about the origin of his father's power. He learned from the conversation with his father's heroic spirit that the most regrettable thing in his father's life was that he hoped to use the force of life to help Padme, but ended up killing her. Aniken said it wasn't until the end that he realized that the force of life exists only in those who have both the dark side and the light side, but unfortunately he didn't have time to complete the quest.
Chewbacca receives a transmission that the Rebels have been attacked and comes to summon Rey back to the Millennium. Leia asks Rey about her brother, who is being attacked by the First Order
(Memories II) The answer lies on a small island on a remote planet. Luke left Kylo halfway through training and came to the planet alone, wearing his father's helmet, and he wanted to use the force to resurrect his father to rebuild the Jedi Order together. To obtain this power, he must accept trials and expose himself to the temptation of the dark force. Only by containing both the dark and the light force can he be able to release the life force. The experiment finally required Luke to destroy his father's heroic spirit and reunite it in a new life. This is an extremely evil and immoral ability, Luke struggled for a long time, and finally destroyed his own creed in order to resurrect his father, and let his father's soul gather in the body of an ordinary woman on a remote planet.
Luke informs Kylo and the New Jedi Order to help him locate a girl in the galaxy who has the power of the Force and can't be found by the Empire first. Kylo learned from the records of R2D2 that his master had acquired a powerful knowledge of the Force in Kojima, and he was eager to ask Luke how he did it and why he didn't teach him this powerful ability. Luke, aware of his greed, hopes to use his parents to persuade him to give up his pursuit of darkness, but neither Leah nor Solo can do anything. Kylo realized that the girl Luke wanted them to find was related to the new ability acquired by the master, so he organized a group of apprentices who pursued the same powerful power as himself to form the "Ninja Warriors" to hunt the Force-sensitive people in the galaxy together. At this point, Snoke seduces Kylo, and he can help Kylo get what he dreams of - his grandfather's balance of the Force to destroy the increasingly corrupt Galactic Council.
Luke sensed Kylo's depravity, so he led the rest of the apprentices to chase Kylo and his party. Kylo finally found the village where Rey was located. It was raining heavily at that time. The Jedi apprentices evacuated for the villagers and confronted the ninja warriors. They were all killed, and the ninjas massacred the fleeing villagers. Luke realized that he had made a huge mistake, that the dark force had lured his students to take what was originally used to fight the dark force. He couldn't escort Rey out in person, he had to deal with the mess he left behind. They told Rey's biological father and mother to send the girl to the most remote galaxy in the Milky Way and never be found by the First Order. Luke confronted Snooker, severely wounding Snooker with the Dark Force. Snoke and Kylo, knowing that they can't defeat Luke for the time being, ordered the First Order to destroy all the ships that escaped from the village, including Rey's biological parents. Luke saw the transport ships being shot down one by one, he knelt down in frustration, and Snoke left in the spaceship with mocking laughter. He knew that his greed for power had killed all the Jedi, the villagers, and his father's heroic spirits, and he thought he could no longer lead the Jedi because he had fallen to the dark side.
Luke handed the lightsaber to Leah, put the R2D2 into hypnotic mode, and exiled himself. But the Force somehow assisted Rey's biological parents, who escaped the fire and made it to Jakku. They couldn't bear to abandon the child who didn't belong to them at all, and tricked her into coming back to find her one day, making her willing to stay in Jakku and wait for them not to leave.
Rey knew her background, she knew why she was born with such a powerful force. Knowing the truth, she became more confident in her own Force, and instantly moved the boulder away. Rey entered the cave and saw the scene in Luke and the dream. This is where Luke was tested and where he was born. Luke gives Rey a sense of his future, and she sees Leia, Kylo's shattered helmet, in balance with the Force. Luke tells Rey that he betrayed the Jedi Creed to create a Rey that merges light and dark, and that she must face her destiny to bring balance to the Force. But she can no longer act on the Jedi creed, because as long as there is a light side, there will be a dark side, and the two coexist, and the only way is to destroy both the light and dark sides at the same time.
In other words, if Rey wants to complete her training, she must kill the Luke siblings and snooker with her own hands. It is the force that drives her to end her own life. Rey initially thought it was just a trial for her by the heroic spirits on the island, but the story told by the lightsaber to her gradually solved the mystery, and she really needed to kill Luke herself. Luke finally embraced his own death in the Jedi Temple, which was the end of suffering for him, and a new beginning for Rey.
Rey and Chewbacca left the island in their spacecraft to rescue the Rebels.
2.
The super weapons of the Rebels and the First Order were destroyed, making its leader Snoke aware of the rise of the power of fear, and from Kylo's description to detect Rey's true identity - Darth Vader's transformation living body. Knowing that once Rey finishes training, he will be a stronger Jedi than Luke, so he sends Kylo to capture everyone in the Rebels related to Rey alive. Out of hatred for traitors, and observations during the first battle, Kylo knew that Rey was attached to Finn, so he convened the ninja samurai group and the first order to attack the rebel base, slaughtered many rebels, and captured his mother Lea and Finn alive.
Finn successfully persuaded the soldiers guarding him to defect at the base and escorted Leah out of the Star Destroyer. On the way, he encountered General Fa Sima. In order to cover Leah's escape, he was beaten by Fa Sima to the point of being seriously injured and dying. The pilot Bo led the fleet to rescue the princess, and had already invaded the interior of the Star Destroyer, but was cut off by the ninja warrior fleet, and his X-Wing was also destroyed.
Just as Rey and Chewbacca arrive in the Millennium Drive, Rey and Kylo go head-to-head to save Leah, just as she predicted. Kylo asks who Rey is (here can be a little hilarious, maybe "I'm your grandpa"), Rey says "I'm not anyone". Leah told Rey before getting on the spaceship that she could kill Kylo to avenge Solo without worrying about her. In the battle, Kylo was defeated and his right hand was cut off. When Rey wanted to kill him with the dark force, the bright side in his heart asked her to stop, and he still had the good side to save him.
Back at the base, Finn has died, everyone is very sad, Princess Leia decides to hold a grand funeral for the man who saved her. Rey remembered his own attributes, touched Finn's coffin and used the force of life, and Finn came back to life! Everyone was excited, but no one knew what was going on, only Lia noticed the doubt.
She asked Rey, where did brother Luke go and why didn't he come back together? Rey told Leah the truth, it was Luke who asked him to end his life, it was his destiny. And the next thing to end is Leah, driven by the Force. But Rey didn't want to do that, she figured there must be another way to maintain the balance of the Force.
Leah said that since it was the call of the Force, it was time for her to retire in the galaxy, because the Skywalker family would become a threat every day in the galaxy.
Kylo fled to a smuggling planet dragging his battered body, and his failure prevented him from facing snooker and the First Order again. He remodeled his robotic hand to make him feel closer to his grandfather. He wants to find the truth about Rey's force and prove his worth to Snooker again.
