What I am most pleased with is the politically correct attitude of the film. The strict distinction between the national level and the personal level creates its correct political stance. Although it is a cultural cannonball for the peaceful evolution of US imperialism, it recognizes the existence of US imperialism as the world's largest legitimate terrorist organization. International law is established on the basis of the interests of hegemonic countries. The US imperialists have been creating and intensifying conflicts in the Middle East for the national oil strategic security. The current political ecology in the Middle East, which is like purgatory on earth, is entirely due to the US imperialism's protection of local interests. However, we must admit that the crimes committed by the state should not be blamed on individual American citizens. The Iranian hostage incident in 1979 was indeed the greatest humiliation in the history of international exchanges since mankind entered the modern civilized society. Iranian Muslims have abandoned the most basic human rights and have fallen into a deep human rights paradox. This is the same mistake that Midea made.
It is a pity that the whole film still avoids the important and focuses on the protection of human rights at the personal level, but the crimes against the US imperialists are understated and ignored.
