exile soul

The ending of the movie surprised and regretted me: he died.

Yes, real life is that cruel. All the fantasies of romantic passion are so ridiculous and empty in the face of death.

But this movie still makes me think about it, and remember it again and again. Because I saw my shadow and my life in him. Including his favorite books: Thoreau's "Walden", Jack London's "The Call of the Wild", Tolstoy's "Is Life Worth Living". The biggest difference between me and him is that he is dead and I am alive.

When I was a child, in winter, I suddenly became nervous and went to the suburbs by bicycle to exercise myself. As a result, my hands were almost numb. When I

grew up, I liked Yu Qiuyu. I bought a story about a young man in the United States walking the country alone with a dog at a street vendor;

When it rains heavily, go outside and let the rain fall; take a cold shower in winter; run and breathe through your nose, in order to increase your lung capacity
, buy books about outdoor survival, books about plants, and Into Thin Air. . . . . .

Hiking, hitchhiking, biking. . . . . .

I don't know why I am like this, I just know that I like this way of life, I like to travel around the world, I like freedom, I like to exile myself, and I like to be free. The impulse of youth, the desire for the unknown, the fearless confidence of the ignorant, and the throbbing heart, all rubbed together to make you rush forward.

I believe in this sentence: In this way, half of the people in the world are happy, and the other half cannot experience it.

I think Christopher is just that kind of person, born that way. He heard the drumbeat of his own heart and went after him.

I don't want to discuss whether he regretted his own death in the end.

But I know that for me, I have no regrets about my past.

For a former ALICE friend, only by going to places that others can't go can you see the scenery that others can't see. In the same way, traveling in a different way than others can also experience feelings that others cannot. Therefore, there are so many ALICE friends who choose to hike, climb, cycle, and explore—for many people, it would be silly to choose that way if there are planes, cars, and cable cars.

The point is whether you are responsible for it: because you chose it, you must be responsible for the consequences of your choice. Therefore, there are often mountain difficulties.

So is travel, so is life.

He's on his way to chasing his dreams, and he's dead right. Just like many people sacrificed in the pursuit of their dreams.

Although I'm back now and don't travel deliberately anymore, I've started another journey: to pursue my career. I wish I could be as strong as him, and luckier than him, to be successful and to live a good life.

I think young people should watch this movie, especially his dialogue with the old man, to get out of their own small world and see the big world. Young people are full of curiosity and desire for the unknown world in the future. They like to explore and pursue. Through different experiences, they experience life, feel the world, think about life, and find themselves. The world is here, where are you?

I once asked a colleague, do you like to be a small fish in the fish tank, you have no worries about food and clothing, but you are not free; you
are still a fish in the sea, you are free, but you may be eaten by sharks.

He chose the former, I chose the latter.
