By George Gordon Byron
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar;
I love not Man the less, but Nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or I have been before,
To mingle with the Universe, and fell
What I can never express, yet can not all conceal. Nature
-
Byron
No The forest of trails is often interesting,
no one's shore, many surprises, a
paradise, and few people traveled.
On the shore of the deep sea, listening to Tao Le;
I love human beings, and I love nature more.
People and scenery communicate with each other, and I think about it. It
may have been like this, or it has been like this.
All things blend together

While watching a movie, I wrote down a paragraph, and then searched for the entire poem and translation.
I don't know who translated it, I don't like it. The style of translating English poems into rhythmic poems is very strange. Because the syllable length of each word is different in English, there is a sense of staggered beauty, while the sense of staggeredness in Chinese is more manifested in the tone. The words translated into rhythmic poems seem to be too neat and tidy. However, I don’t really read poetry, and I have limited ability to appreciate and distinguish. Maybe it’s translated by famous experts~~~ er
, the first half of the poem is played at the opening of the movie, that is, “I love not Man the less” , but Nature more"...seems to be making a statement to the audience.
Why did Christopher leave the house? The French sitting behind me didn't understand.
Didn't we escape too?
For various reasons, I cannot face myself, the future, failure, growth and burden, family and past injuries. So the only way to escape the pain is to face it.
It's just that Christopher chose the pathless forest, the deserted coast, the no-man's land, the low-pitched deep sea, and we chose the distant city, the unfamiliar face, and the different culture to exile ourselves.
Are you going abroad to read more books, to gain more knowledge, or to exercise your abilities? Yes. These are high-sounding, justifiable reasons.
There are also reasons not to say.
I want to leave the familiar people and environment, go to a place where no one knows, no one knows my past, leaving the way others are accustomed to looking at you and treating you, it seems to cut off the past and shed a layer of skin, restart.
For this reason, I stayed in France year after year and did not want to go back.
Someone asked me if I don't want to go home? want. During the festivals, when I am wronged, when I am in trouble, I will think about how good my family is and whether my mother has gray hair. But every year, there are various reasons for delaying the return date. How to face the family on my mother's side and my father's side when I go back, I can't harden my scalp when I think of a sore throat.
But those who are exiled will return one day.... one day.
"When you forgive, you love, and when you love, God's love shines on you" - when you forgive, your heart produces love, and when your heart produces love, God's love shines on you.
When this line was spoken lightly by the old man sitting on the top of the mountain, I suddenly burst into tears in the dark.
This is the power of language. The relationship between speech and spirit.
When I can finally forgive one day, I will go back. I believe in God because this is hope. If anyone says it can mend the soul, I will give it without hesitation.
"If we admit that human life can be ruled by a reason, the possibility of life is destroyed."
Maybe one day, like Christopher, we will give up more things to feel the meaning of life itself, not just live and fear losing , or get it from the camp.
"...love, money, fame or fairness, give me truth!"
Some people criticized that this is a gibberish that people who don't know about Chai Migui. If you have ever suffered for a bucket of rice and a liter of oil, you will not pursue the truth unrealistically. It is not easy to live an ordinary life.
However, birth cannot be chosen, family cannot be chosen, good material conditions, healthy body, and smooth life will make the soul more sensitive and fragile, and it cannot be chosen. All you can choose is how to repair yourself, learn to look at the world from a different angle, and whether it will become more beautiful.
There is a saying that parents often say, "I'm all for your own good." However, the innocent life is created at will, and then because of a word, a look, and a quarrel, it leaves an indelible mark on its pure soul, asking us to spend the best years of our lives wandering in this world and praying for repair.
In the process of exile, Christopher met his spiritual parents, met love, and then said goodbye to all this, got rid of the fetters between people, and continued to endure loneliness. I think he was just looking for his way home.
Teach him the nature of forgiveness, but blocked his way back when he wanted to go back. Christopher eventually died of food poisoning after eating the plant by mistake. It also taught Christopher the last and most important thing - To call each thing by its right name
is the truth.
We are still ignorant and shallow.
I tried to remember but ended up forgetting who did the BGM for this movie.
At first I thought it would be better to use Matthew Lien. But maybe Matthew is too bleak and lonely, but this is a powerful healing movie.
If I saw it ten years earlier, maybe I would open my arms to my family and express my inner confusion and pain. But since it is ten years late, I hope that after the exile, I can bring back the wounds, forget the pain, and return to them with love.
PS: I almost forgot to complain, the Chinese translation of this title is "Wild Survival". Sounds like a survival manual. Christopher always said that "Jack London is king", so this wild, at least translated into words related to "wildness" is appropriate.
