How many people are going to nature now, fully equipped, and clamoring to "conquer nature" when they first entered the water, but they just want to have something to advertise and talk about when they return to the crowd.
Of course, there are people who are more pure, like the protagonists in the film. The pursuit of truth is to escape the ugliness and falsehood that belong to human society. But I don't know how many people are truly free and liberated in this process of escape and seeking, and truly find what they want. There is a sense of satisfaction at the moment of climbing the mountain, but the next moment is to feel the cold wind blowing through your clothes. It is always more distressing to be alone. Sometimes you want to be alone for a while, but you will not always be. I want to be alone.
At the end of the film, when Chris had the hallucinations of his parents, it was rather sad to watch, and the strong and rapid drum beat hit my heart like Chris's heartbeat. I don't think he'd want to die like this if he had a choice.
People can go to nature for fun, people can use the excuse to seek meaning in nature and escape their original life, and nature will play with you for a while, but since "people" can't stay in nature as calmly as a stone , then please come back, who made you have feelings, good and evil?
Go back, kid.
You belong to that "jungle", not this one.
