After watching it, it is really interesting to recall a few episodes.
The male protagonist accidentally fell into a time-space bug and kept repeating the same day. He originally thought that after knowing all the things that would happen on this day and mastering the coping methods for each event, he could get the heart of his sweetheart as he wished. The results failed again and again.
The unfinished failure was desperate, so he chose to commit suicide in various ways. But in endless repetitions, even suicides keep failing. He wakes up at 6:00 every day, and he can't remember how many times it's smashed the damn alarm clock that woke him up.
The day he started to really escape started when he found what really made him happy. Helping others generously, reciting French poetry to strangers living in the same hotel, learning a musical instrument, listening to the stories of his sweethearts... The repetition has already made him enjoy it. Catching the little boy who would fall from the sky, although he knew that the little boy would never say thank you, he would never tire of taking the time to run to the tree and stretch out his arms.
Perhaps what it wants to say is that even if some people can predict the future, calculate the time of every accident and every word the other party will say, they cannot really get the love of anyone, or the ultimate happiness in life. Only when you begin to truly care about others, to understand others from the bottom of your heart, to work hard for the happiness of others, and to feel happy and happy to connect with them, the emotion of "what a blessing to be born as a human being" will appear.
If you always feel that life is worthless and meaningless, and trying to live your life is always unrewarding and even wanting to commit suicide... Then you can try learning a musical instrument, recite poetry, chat sincerely with people around you, and play games with children. A snowball fight, helping grandma repair the wheels of the car... Because precious feelings, beautiful art, nature, children, all seem to make people feel the infinite happiness of being a human being.
(I guess that's what the movie is trying to say
