The story tells the story of a weatherman who went to a small town in the groundhog's hometown on Groundhog Day to make a special Groundhog Day program for the TV station. As a result, the day stopped on that day. Always groundhog day. No matter what happened the day before, tomorrow will still be today. It all starts today, I meet the same people and the same things happen every day. At the beginning, the weatherman felt a little funny, he did a lot of crazy things that he never dared to do. However, slowly and suddenly, I felt that it was boring to live the same life every day, so I wanted to do everything possible to commit suicide. But, as you can imagine, he will never die. Because the next day, he would still wake up at the same time, lie in the same bed, and experience the same day again.
Every day, he fell in love with the producer, Miss Rita, who he didn't like before. Rita is a very kind and generous person, she always tells him some truths of life. So, slowly, he changed from an arrogant person to a helpful person. Since he's been through the day so many times, he knows exactly what's going on at every moment. Therefore, he can arrive in time to catch the children who fell from the trees; he helps the old ladies with flat tires to change the tires; he helps the gentleman with food stuck in his throat out of danger. He also learned to play the piano and learned to carve ice. So, he finally won the love of Rita. The premise of winning love is to win life. This day finally passed with great joy. The next morning, he woke up to find that the world had arrived at "tomorrow"—his tomorrow. So he said to Rita, let's live in this town, I like it here.
