The villain, Darren Krause, is a genius scientist in the film, but he is always full of the grievances of being neglected and unwilling by the teacher. When he asked the teacher "why don't you want me anymore", he was pitiful. Although he has wolf ambitions to rule the world, he is not a wicked person, and he is also affectionate and righteous to Hope Van Dyne, the daughter of a generation of Ant-Man Hank Pym.
The family line between Hope and his father runs through the whole process. From the incomprehension and mutual resentment at the beginning, to the final reconciliation, it seems real and touching in a sci-fi movie, especially when Hank Pym finally explained to his daughter. Knowing the cause of his mother's death, Hope also achieved a sensational effect when he choked with tears in his eyes. The affectionate relationship between the protagonist Scott Lang and his daughter is the clearest line. Therefore, he understands Hank Pym's good intentions for Hope better, and reconciles the contradiction between the father and daughter.
After the body shrinks, looking at the world from a different perspective is undoubtedly a very interesting theme, just like Alice's Adventures or Spirited Away, creating a model based on real life, but different from the previous, magical. It is a wonderful experience to have a world for the imagination to run wild. There are three elements of laughter, tears, evil, and beauty. With sophisticated 3D technology, it is still very shocking, especially when the mighty ant army is attacking, and the viewing experience is generally good.
In terms of the comic transformation of Marvel style, some people think it is very successful, and some people think that "the joke is not funny, and the horror is not in place". Personally, I feel that the addition of comedy elements is still very successful, especially the three friends who partner with Scott Lang, and their gag skills are almost against the sky. But there is no sense of horror, but people with intensive phobia are afraid that it will be a bit shadowy. Looking forward to the Hope sequel.
