this is life

It's been a long time since I watched a movie of such a life so quietly.
This is a pretty good movie.
Although there are no seductive handsome men and beauties, no vigorous plot, but the performance of the three protagonists makes me feel that this is life. There is not so much thrilling, not so many ups and downs, many times, life is like this, calm and lonely, flowing like a stream.
Fin's life is painful and very hidden. Joe's life is very peaceful and comfortable. Olivia's life is painful and hopeful. But after the three met together, each opened up and became friends.
In fact, many times, we only need a few people. Dearest family, lover, confidant. If all these in life are complete, how wonderful! But there will always be unsatisfactory. There will always be shortcomings in the three.
Hopefully, I have these three intact.

"You don't need to talk, you can concentrate on eating, it doesn't matter." Three good friends can enjoy the time quietly with each other, which is a state of mind that only exists in the suburbs. The ending was sudden, and when the screen went black, I thought there was a problem with the file and it was not finished...

When you are alone, having someone to be with you is a blessing that you cannot ask for! No one can absolutely tolerate loneliness, especially when life throws you one cruel and ironic joke after another. Finbar, an adult dwarf, Joe, a Cuban immigrant who sells hot dogs and coffee, and Olivia, a female painter who lost her son and lived alone, gathered together to warm each other. It's a movie that connects loneliness and loneliness

The Station Agent quotes

  • Finbar McBride: I'm retired, actually.

Emily: Aren't you a little young to be retired?

Finbar McBride: No, dwarves retire early. Common fact.

    Emily: Yeah, *lazy* dwarves.

  • [last lines]

Joe Oramas: It's the librarian fantasy, man. Glasses off, hair down, books flying.

Finbar McBride: She doesn't wear glasses.

Olivia Harris: Well, buy her some, it's worth it.
