Business + Beauty + Goddess

I went to see it on the first day of its release on October 10th, and it turns out that this kind of film with many special effects still has to be seen in the cinema.

The plot of this film is a big taste, and surprising the audience at the end is the characteristic of suspense films, but this film actually has no plot. The audience is not able to predict and participate on their own, but is just blindly fooled. In the end, I actually don't know what it is talking about. The plot is not smooth and it is not disappointing. But you don't need to expect too much plot and logic for commercial Hollywood movies.

It's a movie that wins with lineups and stunts.

Stunt-wise, flying cars, magic tricks, you'll be entertained by the senses at the cinema, especially after a long day at work.

Judging from the lineup, there are old, middle-aged and young American actors, plus old French actors and my beautiful melanie. Although there is not much acting that everyone can get.

In fact, melanie plays another policeman, and the role of the Interpol is actually a superfluous role in the plot. I believe that Hollywood is only interested in her popularity and the box office in France. Make the movie look more colorful.

Every co-production, starting with Inglourious Basterds, every screenwriter highlights Melanie's French identity. Basically, every play she plays is her true character, and every character is smart, aura, and calm. This police character is identical to the Smile specimen. I do think she'd be better for a female role in Now You See Me. There are also more acting breakthroughs.

The film Yankee made a mockery of the French. And melanie's first line, the first word, actually her accent, still reveals that she is completely French.

In such a film that feels a little messy and extremely commercial, with the beauty of Paris, although more messy, it is still eye-catching. I happen to have just been to the pont des arts, and I remember asking the local people where is the pont d'archevêché, all of them said they didn't know, but it's actually near Notre Dame, on the road to saint-louis. As for the pont des arts, this is the bridge full of locks that every Parisian knows.

In fact, I want to say that this movie is still worth watching, just for entertainment. And for me, it's good to have melanie. I believe that most of the Chinese people will remember this beautiful French actor through this movie that was released on the big screen in China. And her international road will go more smoothly.

It's just that in Hollywood movies, she is always just a commercial tool, and only in French local niche movies, she is the real protagonist. True colors can be performed.

Show off visual effects is more than show magic, action scenes more than puzzle elements. Summer popcorn is so refreshing that you can't resist scrutiny. It's a pity that with such a good cast, none of the roles other than the magician stand up, and one is less convincing than the other. The Eye is completely magical. Is the merry-go-round some kind of imagery? The ending is a mess. Having said that, Jesse is quite satisfactory to me, and still has no resistance to his voice.

It feels like this script was pieced together by a lot of people, and then piled up a lot of gorgeous shots and special effects. As a result, the most important ones were not connected.

Now You See Me quotes

  • Cowan: The level of incompetence displayed on the case, that's a magic trick in and of itself. Abracadabra, I'm takin' over...

  • J. Daniel Atlas: What is magic? Magic is deception, but deception designed to delight, to entertain, to inspire. It is about belief. Faith.

    Henley Reeves: Trust.

Merritt McKinney: Without those qualities, magic as an art form would no longer exist.

Henley Reeves: But what happens if these qualities are not used for their higher purpose? And instead they're used to cheat, lie.

    J. Daniel Atlas: For personal gain, or for greed? Well then it's no longer magic.

    Merritt McKinney: It's crime.

Henley Reeves: So tonight, for our final act, you're gonna help us set a few things right.
