The two-hour movie can't fully reflect the original work of King. This is an unchangeable flaw, and this film does not have the support of a decent script like Shawshank's Salvation. The first 1/3 of the film was pretty good, but it was changed beyond recognition. I don't know if there was a problem with the funds, it was simply a patchwork of scenes. Ada is actually an alien, and it is ridiculous; I can't figure out how Lao Mo would take this film. There is no villain at all. Although I tried to treat him as a villain, I could only think of the script in the end. Here only portrays this person as a neuropathy; I don’t think anyone who has read the original will think it’s so good.
All in all, this film is just a commercial movie that relies on the original as a gimmick. It is one of the worst movies I have ever watched this year.
