The lines in this film are interesting:
1. The Viet Cong did not have a labor party. They either stood firm or moved quickly; what they wanted for vacation was cold rice and a little bit of rat meat. They have two paths: death or victory.
2. As long as our officers and teams come here for a year, they will remain laymen. As long as cold beer, hot food, rock music, and all the rest of the fun remains the same. Our command will only be weak, and we want elite troops who, if they will give their lives, can win with a quarter of the existing army.
3. This is how we live, we machine guns, tear them in half, and give them a Bundy.
4. Your subordinates must have moral values, and at the same time be able to use their primitive instincts to kill. No emotion, no excitement, no judgment, because it is judgment that brings us down.
