After watching Arrival, I came home and just asked my grandfather, "If you knew how your life was spent when you were in your twenties, would you want to change it?"
Grandpa said, "Change what? Can't change"
I explained, "For example, you are eighty now, but when you were young, you knew who to marry and have a few children, and now you know that you will sit and watch TV. Would you want to change? Get married or not have so many children."
Grandpa said, "When I was young, I didn't have any thoughts and it was like this. If I don't change, I have to suffer the hardships I deserve."
Are there no regrets in my life when I ask many times? Grandpa always answered "No, I don't want to change.
I've been daydreaming about the time machine changing the past so that I'll be better and happier now. Even people around me, even middle-aged people, always say that if I changed my mind when I was young, I would be different now. We all forget that one thing deserves to suffer and has to suffer
I hope I can say that I have no regrets and I don't want to change the past
