The Hunger Games is good in many ways. There are many Hollywood blockbusters, covering all aspects, but there are not many movies that cover a wide range.
First and foremost, The Hunger Games must be a feast for the eyes. Especially the makeup and dress of the actors, the whole is a live show of Milan Fashion Week. Exaggerated and beautiful.
Secondly, in terms of plot, the film itself is very imaginative. The screenwriter of this game and movie is bold, and the director is bold, crossing the barriers and just right. Even the completely unimaginable things such as time and space shift don't feel inconsistent when watching.
In addition, on the theme, it is undoubtedly an attack on hegemony and dictatorship, and a resistance to fake democracy, which is a revolution. The ranks of people are divided into three, six, nine, and the lowly people want to use their lives to win people's laughter, which is bound to cause a resistance. When I watched The Hunger Games 1, I found this theme very shocking. The touching effect created by such senses is bound to be stronger.
But the main part of The Hunger Games 2 is not grasped enough. The beginning part is too long, and the middle game part is a bit short, even though the movie is already two and a half hours, I still feel that it is not enough to watch.
Looking forward to The Hunger Games 3. District 13 is just around the corner.
