I watched this (Prisoner) movie after watching the Sicario series.
The actors are all good, but I'm very confused after watching it.
The following contains spoilers. If you have seen the movie, you can continue to read it and review the plot. If you have not seen the movie, I advise you not to watch it.
1. The confusion of the logic chain of the mummy in the basement of the priest
a: The devil who prayed and repented (before he was alive) threatened to continue to do evil. For the justice of maintaining world peace, Father God rolled up his sleeves and went off to clean up the garbage (killing people). The priest uses murder to stop the devil and the priest transmits the letter to the police (call the police) to stop the devil. Are these two methods torturing the soul for the priesthood? In the West, human rights and religious piety are emphasized. The professional ethics of priests who come to repent and keep secrets are superimposed on a demon full of evil intertwined with priests. The position of priest is really a cumin roasted soul. The priest chose to do something that God knows, I don't know, and ghosts don't know, and what followed was the priest's own repentance and guilt over the years. Well, let's let this priest go. Let's look at the police's attitude.
b: The police have not made progress on mummification, such as autopsy investigations. The police should be able to call up the check of the missing persons in the area during the same period (date or year of death), visit the missing families in the area, and press announcements (the news media compares the mentally retarded men to the media outside the court to track and pay attention). The police did not even investigate the clues provided by the priest. The police came to this church to investigate the missing little girl, and the church is in this area. So are those missing persons (victims killed by mummification) from this area? Who reported missing persons (including adult males, cracking mummy identities) back then. But the aunt of the mentally retarded man in the RV appeared (the mummified wife), did the old woman report the missing persons back then (after the mummification died)? If so, the police should contact her about the progress of the mummification case. If the old woman did not report the case, the police visited the old woman's house when they were investigating the mentally handicapped man, and the old woman mentioned the clues about her husband's disappearance. And for so many years of disappearance, the neighbors never saw her husband again, (about the mummified corpse) now the neighbors will provide it to the police. But the mummy case is gone.
c: The police visited the old woman's house and found a mentally handicapped man's RV toy in the drawer. The old woman's house should have photos of her husband or some clues to the mummification case. For example, the clothes during his lifetime, the personal belongings on his body, and the approximate appearance of the mummified corpse during his lifetime. But the subtle policeman only saw the maze pattern of the old woman's necklace pendant in the old woman's photo in the play. A detective who observes the subtleties, logically speaking, after the mummy appears on the scene, the clues that the mummy brings should be alert at the old woman's house.
2. The logical confusion of black daughters
a: At the end of the story, the male protagonist received a call, and the black daughter (a companion, who disappeared together) was found first. So the question is, who found (rescued) this little black girl? Who was sent to the hospital? If it was found by the police and sent to the hospital, the police handling the case in the plot would arrive at the hospital later than the male protagonist (the black neighbor), and there was no police at the hospital at the time. It was the black neighbor who notified the male protagonist, not the police. Explain that the black daughter had nothing to do with the police from her discovery until the hospital. Use the results to reverse the inference: if the police rescued, then the police should be the first male lead who took over the old woman's house and rescued the male lead's daughter together. So the black daughter has nothing to do with the police, so who found her and took her to the hospital? No explanation, too abrupt.
b: The male protagonist has already found clues about his daughter by inquiring about the little black girl in the hospital. The male protagonist rushed to rescue, and the police chased after him. The male protagonist did not share clues to the police and asked for help. What should the police do at this time, which is more important when the police chase the male protagonist out or ask the victim (the little black girl)? Well, the police chose to chase the male lead out. Just chase after you, just a few seconds before and after passing each other, the police actually lost the chase. The master goes home. At the same time, the police went to the old man's house and rescued the mentally retarded man. Logically speaking, if the police feel that chasing the male protagonist is more important than inquiring about the case of the little black girl, then seeing from a distance that there is no male protagonist's car downstairs in the old house, and finding that the male protagonist is not here, the police should immediately go to the male protagonist's house . The male protagonist has sorted out the pistol and tool kit at home and is going to go to the old woman. At this moment, the logical policeman was in the car outside the old house and felt that there was something wrong with the old house. Brother, if you have any doubts, you should take the time to review it earlier. Just at the moment when the matter was urgent, the police felt that since they were here, they should go to investigate first, and he let go of the male protagonist and the little girl in the hospital. Before and after going out, the police chased the lost person, and lost 1 point. What is the logic at this moment? Well, you can go up as soon as you go up, and there is also an accidental harvest of a mentally retarded man. At this time, the police should contact the victim's family—the old woman, as soon as possible. He did not immediately lead the team to arrest the male protagonist, but waited during the day and came to the old woman's house alone at night (knock on the door). What kind of case did you come here at this moment, or was she just here to tell the old woman that the mentally handicapped man from her family had been found? If you just came to tell the old woman the case of the mentally retarded man, did the police station not call the family in advance? From day to night, this time logic. . . . .
c: Speaking of day and night, on the side of the little black girl, the black family members did not ask for any clues about where the daughter went missing during these hours? Even if the little girl needs to rest, she has not been sleeping for the past 12 hours. The parents have no curiosity at all and have no clues to the police. Or, the police who stayed in the hospital did not ask for any clues?
3. The logic of mentally retarded men
The mentally handicapped man has no family ethical relationship with the old woman, and belongs to the child adopted by the old woman. The snake farmer and the mentally handicapped man are good friends. The snake farmer was arrested until he committed suicide. The police never visited the old woman at home again, and they never thought (home visit) to know some details of her adopted son and the snake farmer from the old woman.
4. The logic of the rescued little girl's appearance
No one knows where the little girl is. But it happened when the police came to visit the old woman's house (or informed the mentally handicapped man about the case). How can an old driver who has been hiding for many years start committing crimes on the floor so carelessly? Logically, isn't the first scene where the murder was committed in the place where the little girl was imprisoned? The old old woman actually deliberately labored the victim before committing the murder, and carried the comatose little girl to her room at home before committing the murder? (The camera depicts the old woman injecting the little girl)
Come on, let's end it.
At the end of the film, the police faintly heard the whistle. I believe that the male protagonist can be saved. After all, I have a good impression of this policeman. He is a powerful policeman. The points he loses are the responsibility of the director. I think the director is a little stupid. Nothing to do with the police.
No, when it comes to the director, I still have more to say, and I still have something to say.
The film begins with the father and son hunting together, and the words of the father educating the child still haunt my ears. I thought it was the foreshadowing of the film. Through the guidance of the father to the son, the plot will unfold. The director wants to express that the father-son relationship is very strong, the son admires the father, and the influence of the father on the son. As a result, it turned out that I was self-inflicted, and I hated my self-love because it seemed silly to me. In the film, the son is completely disrespectful to his father's drinking. I thought it was the king at the beginning, but I didn't expect it to be like this later. I didn't guess the beginning, and I couldn't get such an ending. This son did not see any promise or contribution in the film. Except for hating his father, the rest of him was endless helplessness, unable to do anything. Wait, I think about it, I think about it, the director of the film arranged for his son to fall in love with a little girl of the same age. Intruded into his upstairs world by two missing little girls. No, I'm going to give the movie another title: "The Missing Sister, On the Harm of Teenage Puppy Love, Awakening Thousands of Families". The three-paragraph title is very self-media.
