Sacrifice requires a pure and forgiving heart

Huai Zhiyi's film review "Revolution of Idealism - An Excessive Interpretation of "Pan's Labyrinth" is well written. It seems that many film critics are doing similar "interpretation" efforts. When a movie is shot, there is a lot of room for film critics to "interpret". First, the artistic effects such as subtlety, tension, and openness have come out. Second, a set is cleverly set up to let a bunch of pretentious people The audience came to show their understanding, and by the way, they helped to hype it up. David Lynch's "Mulholland Drive" was filmed and made everyone confused, and he didn't explain it after guessing, which is also in this category. Compared with those films that like to forcefully use some "extreme experiences" to cause trouble and attract attention, this kind of allegorical subtlety is much smarter.

However, although this type of film review is reasonable, compared with the film itself, it is obviously too dogmatic and loses its interest. Therefore, no matter how high this type of film critic is, it is not as high as the creator. If the director and screenwriter can achieve this, it can be said to be detached from the rules of the game in the entertainment industry, and the cultivation has achieved positive results.

If I were to write a movie review, I wouldn't be so foolish. I just want to say a little bit about my feelings -

"Pan's Labyrinth" is very interesting and fascinating, and it gave me an inspiration: to get out of the maze of dreams and reality to obtain freedom and liberation, only ideals, courage Ah, love, these things are not enough, there is sacrifice. But this kind of sacrifice cannot be because of responsibility, nor because of self-abuse to impress others or to impress oneself, but must be because of a pure and tolerant heart.

  • Capitán Vidal: You could have obeyed me!

Doctor: But Captain, to obey - just like that - for obedience's sake... without questioning... That's something only people like you do.
