The reason why I got the first episode of the Little Golden Man animation feature is that it created a new selling point for animation spoofs. Most of the time it was Eddie Murphy's talking donkey.
[Shrek rescues Fiona]
Princess Fiona: What are you doing? You know, you should sweep me off my feet out yonder window and down a rope onto your valiant steed.
Shrek: You've had a lot of time to plan this, haven't you?
Princess Fiona: [nods] Mmmh-hmm
Princess Fiona: [hears a roar] You didn't slay the dragon?
