The new cosmic ray of knocking mushrooms

Regarding this film, I didn't have any expectations for various reasons plus the wrong look the trailer gave me.
After all, my favorite Mads have all turned into lizards (makeup). What else can I expect? You're right.

However, this film is undoubtedly different from what I imagined, so that after I left the movie theater, I felt a little unsure how to evaluate it.

Generally speaking, probably due to the time limit, the speed of this movie is super fast. It is almost a hurricane when it reaches Strange to find Kama Taj and seek the ancient one to heal his hands not long after the beginning.

The biggest surprise in the first half was probably seeing Mads' face before turning into a lizard spirit.
(PS Uncle Mai's ponytail and running posture are very cute)

The special effects basically start to be cool from here, especially when the ancient pair of stranges showed various worlds, I was stunned. Under the 3D effect, this paragraph It's exactly the feeling of watching 2001 Space Odyssey after knocking mushrooms. Many of the visual effects in the middle are the same as the Google AI deepdream sees the world, there is a sense of fear of Cthulhu, and the san value is quickly cleared as the strange is flying up and down the universe (especially those with long hands on the fingers). In that special effect, there is a very strong fear, although I don’t quite understand where the fear comes from when I think about it).

This paragraph finally connects this very magical story with Marvel's previous series, and it is not particularly abrupt. Although this setting of the big villain is really a bit of a style compared to other works... maverick.

It may be that the shock brought by the visual effects is too strong, and other plots and characters are relatively bland. The plot mode and interpretation are not much different from other Marvel works, and there is nothing particularly worthy of detailed commentary. The part of repelling the big boss is just as funny as the ending of the silver guard. Of course, it is worth mentioning that the parts of love and other feelings are not over-enhanced to take over, although this may also be due to the fact that there is slightly more to express.

The style of the film is almost the same as Ant-Man and Silver Protector. It can be said that this style has become the standard package of Marvel. Fortunately, the special effects saved everything.
(The little boss of Mads died too easily. Hey (.

The easter eggs at the end of the film have hammer base and hints of the next villain.

The biggest cute thing in this film is undoubtedly the cloak. BTW, the fighting of the two-handed magic circle is really true. Very much like a flatbread.

  • Christine Palmer: Where have you been?

Dr. Stephen Strange: Well, after Western medicine failed me, I headed east, and I ended up in Kathmandu.

    Christine Palmer: Kathmandu?

    Dr. Stephen Strange: Yeah.

Christine Palmer: What? Like the Bob Seger Song?

Dr. Stephen Strange: 1975, Beautiful Loser, side A. Yeah. And I went to a place called Kamar-Taj and I... talked to someone called "The Ancient One." And I...

Christine Palmer: Oh. So you joined a cult.

Dr. Stephen Strange: No, I didn't. No, not exactly. No. I mean... They did teach me to tap into powers that I never even knew existed.

Christine Palmer: Yeah. That sounds like a cult.

Dr. Stephen Strange: It's not a cult.

Christine Palmer: Well, that's what a cultist would say.
