First of all, the status of Thor 3 in the world of jokes is unquestionable, but what I want to say is its status in the Marvel universe.
Marvel movies have been rarely watched. Not long ago, I watched "Reunion 2" on TV with insomnia. I thought it was a very competent popcorn movie, so I made up a few more movies.
"Thor 1" and "Thor 2" are said to have bad reviews and have not watched it, but from the perspective of "Reunion 1" and "Reunion 2" alone, this role is undoubtedly a failure. He's just a brainless and muscular arrogant, neither the Protoss nor the aliens can feel it, and even in "Reunion 1", it feels like buying Loki as a gift. "Avengers 2" I don't even remember what he did.
Therefore, I didn't have much expectations for "Thor 3", but I heard that the character creation was a leap, so I went to make up for it. The result was really a huge surprise.
I have always had only two expectations for the Marvel series: one is special effects, and the production cost of hundreds of millions of dollars ensures the visual effects of this type of film; the other is the role-shaping of group portrait dramas under the rhythm of popcorn-popcorn fights in the plot In the case of Wang Baquan, if you can't watch the character creation, I might as well watch the animal world.
So the rich jokes in Thor 3 are just the icing on the cake for me, and the biggest surprise of the film is Thor's "rip-and-start"-style character creation.
The first big change was the attitude towards Loki. To be honest, Loki's popularity is more based on the "unpopularity" of Thor in the early stage. A protagonist who is straight and muscular, of course, can highlight the supporting roles more brilliantly. But this is different. Thor's attitude towards Loki in the whole film is that he is completely above Loki when he laughs and curses:
In the confinement ring, he looked indifferent and disdainful to Loki who came to "Zhao An", which made Loki anxious, "You have to say something";
In the elevator, he expressed his willingness to let go of Loki in a detached manner and no longer forced him to bring back Loki to wash his hands as before, making Loki suspicious of life;
Subdued Loki when he jumped against betrayal for the Nth time, and taunted "you failed because you never want to make progress and never change";
Compared with the previous Thor who was often played around by Loki, Thor in "Thor 3" finally grew into a spiritual powerhouse. A villain like Loki cannot be completely subdued by force. To subdue him, you must let him understand that you are mentally stronger than him, and he cannot hurt you.
The second big change is Thor's "character". He is no longer a "god" holding a high shelf, he is a god, making jokes that don't eat human fireworks, and at the same time his mouth is so broken that it makes people feel very kind.
This brand-new Thor image was carried forward in "Avengers 3": his family was broken, and his mouth was still broken, but both the Rockets and the audience saw the tears in his eyes. Compared with bitterness and hatred, such Thor is easier to empathize with.
The "Reunion" series will generally continue the image of the character in the personal film. So the Thor in "Avengers 1" and "Avengers 2" is still unlikable, but the Thor in "Avengers 3" and "Avengers 4" is very eye-catching - all from Thor 3 "This successful solo film.
Finally, back to the original point of view, this movie is undoubtedly a masterpiece of the Marvel universe. If there is no re-creation of the image of Thor in this work, the role of Thor is probably the biggest failure of Marvel in a decade, and it is not as distinctive as Ant-Man.
