ninth District

The name of "The Ninth District" has been heard for a long time, and it was included in the must-see list of camels early in the morning.
Today is my next birthday, and Nana had promised me to invite me to a candlelight dinner and a movie.
I don't really care what I eat, but since I want to watch the movie, of
course I have to designate this long-favorite work to my wife.

In the dark moments before the movie opens,
Nana whispered to me about how she had come to buy the movie alone before:
a mother with a child was in line behind her, and
when Nana bought her tickets and was about to leave, she heard the conductor talking to her. The mother said,
how bloody and violent this film is, it is not suitable for children to watch~
Then, my wife who didn't know the content of the film looked at me nervously.
And I can only respond to her with a face of embarrassment - don't worry, this will definitely be a good movie!

Two hours later, the film ends with the gaze of the audience stunned to silence.
As it turns out, even with the occasional bloodbath,
it's still a wonderful and wonderful film.

Aliens, never scientifically proven to exist,
have been with us for the past century.
Aliens, never really seen or heard,
are human thinking about the universe and imagining the future.

I think that in the past movies,
in expressing the theme of "alien", they tried their best to highlight their differences from human beings,
so as to use them as the selling point and commercial element of the movie.

However, "The Ninth District" is different.
This film does not deliberately emphasize the existence of "aliens" from beginning to end,
but makes the existence of "aliens" a fait accompli,
thus making it ordinary, ordinary, or even plain as a film background.

Second, what the film expresses is not the difference between "alien" and human beings.
It is the unity of life, as the common aspiration of living beings -
home, freedom, reproduction, hope.

After all, the "alien" in the film is just a layer of disguise.
Beneath the "alien skin" are living human beings.
Suppose that a small and poor country perishes, and its refugees flood into a large country nearby...
Next, it will be exactly the same as in the film.

Clever settings, coupled with clever shooting methods - documentary.
The format of the documentary fits very well with the film's previous naturalization of "alien".
In this way, the power group, alien refugees, local gangsters and the protagonist are perfectly combined.
And the protagonist who transformed from human to alien is the source of all chaos, and
all contradictions and conflicts are concentrated on this hero.
From high-spiritedness to loneliness and sinking, and finally to the explosion of vitality,
the audience has a coherent audio-visual enjoyment.
Even without the support of big-name actors and gorgeous special effects, the
film still brings people a brand new image experience! great!
