Don't ask where I'm from, just know where I'm going

I don't need to analyze the gist of this movie, otherwise it's just superfluous. I just want to discuss what kind of people the protagonist who is the product of genetic mutation symbolizes? What union, aliens, including Nigerian armed forces have their own symbolic meanings, what does the protagonist represent?
I think what he symbolizes is the human being itself. As a human being who will mutate into an alien, he shows many characteristics of human society, such as kindness, cruelty, insidiousness, vanity, fear, tolerance and introspection. The weird arm that grows on his body is a cancer that cannot be eradicated in today's society. The precarious state of existence is the increasingly harsh natural environment in which human beings live. The inhuman treatment he suffered is actually a negative effect of human beings. I like this movie very much, although it is not my favorite star-exploration-type alien movie, but this kind of treatment is closer to reality and life, making people suddenly reflect on what they have done in their mediocre life.
