Mark and Daniel deftly eliminated themselves from the interview, thus avoiding the suspension of unemployment benefits. Afterwards, they went to the bar to celebrate, and Bergby beat and injured people at will, and the bar fell into chaos. Mark meets young and sexy Diane at the disco, and she takes Mark home for the night. Unexpectedly, Diane was only 14 years old. Liz decides to break up with Tommy when she suspects that Tommy sold the videotape of their sex to someone else, but Mark actually stole it. Mark tried to quit drugs, but in the end he couldn't resist the temptation, and the bad habit remained. He and Daniel robbed tourists and used the money to buy drugs. Tommy was devastated by the departure of his girlfriend Liz, and also indulged in drugs, which destroyed his body and mind. Alison's young daughter died suddenly on the bed. Mark and Daniel were caught stealing from the supermarket. In order to forget this series of troubles, Mark took an overdose of heroin and fell into a coma, and was sent to the hospital for rescue. When his parents took Mark home and locked him in his room, forcing him to quit drugs, he realized that stability is the true meaning of life. So Mark left Edinburgh after rehab and found a job in a real estate company in London.
