This week, July 25, after 10 years of waiting, all PHILES finally saw SCULLY and MULDER on the big screen again. This is the most anticipated moment for all fans of the X-Files TV series six years after its closure.
However, it is a pity that there are no dead actors in this movie, and there are no big names or gossips. It's not an action giant. So I don't have much expectations. However, I also have small expectations. I hope to see SCULLY and MULDER's best performances in this movie again. This is more important than anything else.
As early as a few months before its release, the entertainment industry began to pay attention to how the most outstanding drama TV series in the history of American TV dramas would reappear in people's vision. But it seems that the crew, including the actors, did not reveal the slightest meaning of the plot. Just blindly indicate that this will be an independent plot, different from the X-Files alien mainline. So I began to wonder what kind of bizarre and ups and downs the main creator CHRIS CARTER will bring to us. However, as TRAILER gradually began to appear in various places, I found that the plot seems to be very "old-fashioned"-killing, purposeful killing, strange methods, strange motives. In a blink of an eye, Mulder and Scully are already in vicissitudes of life, and I find that my expectations for this movie are decreasing step by step. I thought: Maybe CHRIS CARTER will be exhausted, so let's watch this movie as an aftertaste.
So today I came to the cinema with this mood.
For the entire 100 minutes, I was not as stunned as I was when I watched Batman. I mean, for a small $30 million film that already has more than 200 flawless episodes, what fans can't think of?
So just like that, very plain, I once again experienced the charm of an X file.
However, when the music at the end of the play sounded, my head suddenly went blank.
Still the same melody, but a different interpretation. I understood the movie in an instant. Yes, there are no big moves, no big scenes, no ups and downs, no life and death to die. None of the blockbuster elements of Batman are present in this movie. However, there are two things that can only be found in the X archives---MULDER and SCULLY, even if their cool black brick phones become BLACKBERRY.
It can be seen that the two actors were exhausted, but they did not destroy the tacit understanding and ambiguity between them. This is a special kind of touch, only those who have watched more than 200 episodes of X-files can appreciate it. Interestingly, the little jokes in the movie may only be understood by the old fans. . .
N years ago, when I heard the theme song of X-Files for the first time, I thought it was the most creepy music in the world. Today, once again heard this familiar melody, I think it is the warmest music in the world.
Perhaps the goal set by CHRIS CARTER for this movie is the same --- Let all fans understand: Mulder and Scully have not changed, and of course, they will never change.
