After watching "Red Dead Redemption" and then watching "The Red Dead Redemption", once again I am amazed at the purity of Leone's story.
Compared with "Red Dead Redemption", Clint Eastwood is used as the absolute protagonist to add two more protagonists, forming the classic three protagonist configuration of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, but it is by no means the same. A facebook setting. The multi-faceted nature of the three people is perfectly presented in a purely fable-like story line.
Just as there cannot be a saint with good words and deeds in the desolate West where people live for money and birds eat for food, so the so-called The Good is not perfect. But after more than 2 hours of watching people cheat and betray each other in order to survive and fortune, the highlights of human nature are concentrated on Blondie and Tuco after they joined the Northern Army. The screenwriter took less than 10 minutes to create the most perfect play Role: Captain, in order for thousands of soldiers to stop fighting for nothing, he thought day and night about blowing up the bridge that the two sides were fighting for. Blondie and Tuco were also infected by him and blew up the bridge before he died. (but at the same time to open the way to the treasure trove on the other side), and reveal their secrets to each other.
And after that, no doubt and rightfully so, they turned back into the outlaws who would risk anything for their treasures. But something changed between the two, who were once sworn enemies, and that became something of a basis for the trio to play against each other at the end.
Every scene at the end was handled absolutely brilliantly. The reversal one after another, the classic confrontation of the three, and finally Blondie's practice and ending that perfectly echoes the previous article are frozen for the three protagonists. Coupled with Morricone's classic soundtrack, there's not much to say except "this is the perfect movie".
