It is said to be one of the two best sci-fi films, but I really couldn't appreciate it. I couldn't stand the gloomy and oppressive atmosphere of the film, the dark and humid rain, and the unreasonable future technology (although I imagined me 40 years ago). The era I am in now makes me wear a little tinted glasses, but what the film shows me is really only the skill of a third-rate director), to me, the content of the film is scattered and lackluster, and the male protagonist is completely useless. uncharismatic), the lengthy and broken rhythm interrupts the film. I've also interrupted Inglourious Basterds just because of the film itself, but that was more of an ego state, and that film wasn't too flawed. I also interrupted "Mr. Hello Tree" because of the movie content, but I loved that movie.
This film is different. It defines for me what is a film that abnormal human beings appreciate (I think), I can watch "2001 A Space Odyssey", "Holy Mountain", "The Mole", and "Mysterious Circus" ", I can even watch "Dwelling in Fuchun Mountains", I basically do not refuse any type of movie, but this one is different, it makes me feel more like "Requiem for a Dream" and "Illusion of Death". Superhuman neurotic manifestations, the first two let me appreciate the charm just right, this one is not good, some vague Zen principles and the last sitting duplicator do not know whether the content is too deep or self-defeating.
In my heart, I can only give two and a half stars. In order to save my life, I have a three and maybe I will have the opportunity to watch it again in the future, but these things it gave me for the first time will never elevate its status in my heart. Perhaps because of the taste of CULT, this movie can only be regarded as a niche CULT film, so it makes me feel that I cannot accept all CULT films.
