I have no heaven...

I stayed up late last night and finished watching BLADE RUNNER.
The film, which was born in 1982, was ridiculed by film critics at the time and suffered a fiasco at the box office. In short, not many people knew about this film that year. Yet it seems that the great sci-fi films share a similar fate. Today, 25 years later, no matter where the list of science fiction films is, whether it is a 100-year or 50-year list, this film will be in the top three. Even the landmark "The Matrix" is always on the list.
The nature of science fiction films determines that any good science fiction film must be forward-looking. That is, after we arrived in the future, we were surprised to find, I*, how it was exactly the same as what a certain movie said ten years ago. At this time, people will regard this film as a classic. However, turning a blind eye to what is now about to become a classic but incomprehensible film. Because people are content to see a small pit on the ground in front of them, as for the starry sky far above, fuck it. Therefore, great sci-fi films must be criticized first and then praised.
This is absurd logic, but it is real.
Come back to continue our movie.
As a classic film, there must be a certain moment deeply engraved in the viewer's mind and deeply unwilling to disperse.
Roy finds and makes his own Tyrell in order to prolong Pris's life.
To be sure, in Roy's eyes, Tyrell is as omnipotent as God. Because everything they have is given by Tyler. However, Taylor told him, no.
An abandoned child finds his home after a lot of hard work, but it is deserted.
So the enraged child killed his creator. However, Roy's face was full of tears. Endless sadness spreads at this moment.
Once upon a time, we worked hard to pursue hope, but found that behind the hope is still despair.
And of course at the end, Roy reaches out and saves Deckard. Knowing that he would eventually die as a clone with only four years to live, Roy chose to save a dying human. And human beings, Tyrell, Deckard, are Gods of life and death for Roy, but at this time Roy has become their God. Who is God? Who is in control of the world?
All seemingly unbreakable logic collapsed at this moment, and at the same time, the dove symbolizing the new life soared into the sky. Freshman, Deckard, Roy, Rachael...

Remember that brief conversation?
Sebastian: Where are you going? Home?
Pris: I have no heaven…

Whether a science fiction film is great depends on whether it can withstand the test of ten years..

My favorite movie forever, no one...All those moments will be lost in time, like tears.. in the rain...

Blade Runner quotes

  • Batty: Gosh, you've... really got some nice toys here.

  • Deckard: [narrating] I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life; my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
