goddamn it, it's really a hot day.

We don't know their names like they don't know each other's names. They are strangers and gathered by a counter. That remind me of the civic assembly in Athens. They fight for justice.

At the beginning, there was one person hold a different opinion as at the end there was one person hold a different opinion, and finally he released himself and do what he Used to be afraid to do.

We still don't know the reality, but we see their heart, we see their duty, we see their responsibilities and also their anger.

The director is good at decorating content with skills. As the plot develops, the room becomes smaller and smaller. The first third of the film was shot with a viewing angle above the horizontal line, the middle third was the horizontal line of sight, and the last third was all below the horizontal line of sight. A sense of closure gradually formed, and the film's tension emerged.

Listen, I've lived among them all my life - you can't believe a word they say, you know that. I mean they're born liars.

Juror #9: Only an ignorant man can believe that.

    Juror #10: Now, listen...

Juror #9: [gets up] Do you think you were born with a monopoly on the truth?

Juror #9: I think certain things should be pointed out to this man.

  • Juror #8: [after Juror #10 explains that he believes the boy is guilty because of the testimony of the woman across the street] I'd like to ask you something: you don't believe the boy's story. How come you believe the woman's? She's one of "them", too, isn't she?

Juror #10: [the smile vanishes from his face] You're a pretty smart fella, aren't you?
