You call me Superman, but I'm really just Kal-El.

Man of Steel, one of the most anticipated films of the summer, was highly anticipated by many, but fell short of critics and ended up worse than Superman Returns.
So what are they criticizing? Not fun enough, not the same as the Superman they imagined. As a well-known comic book character, Superman has long been a symbol of hope. He is the one who helped you rescue the kitten from the tree. He protects humans and "never kills." How could he frown all day and finally break Zod's neck. He should have an ice cream hand in hand with Zod and the world would be at peace. You have to remember that he is just a wandering alien on Earth, his name is Kal-El.
A lot of people complained that the film was going to be dark because Nolan was the producer, and Superman became a tortured superhero, but this film is not dark at all, he just gave you a real superhero. When you find out that you are different and different from ordinary people from a young age, you will not be confused and panic, so you will wander around and find yourself. But when you really know yourself, you dare to take responsibility, this is the real superhero, and at this point, the film grasps it very well.
Of course, there are many deficiencies in this film. Let me tell you my opinion:
1. I know that Zack Snyder is a visual director, and the 2006 film was complained that it was not exciting enough, so this time the action scene is the protagonist , There is almost no 2nd act, and a 3rd act for about an hour. The action scenes are too long, mainly destroying, and there are less fights. It is easy to make people feel tired, and the characters do not have enough time to develop further. He had another common childhood problem with ADHD, he couldn't concentrate, and the guide looked a little choppy. This time, the hand-held camera was used, and the picture was shaking.
2. The screenwriter uses a non-linear narrative, which is very effective for this film, but this narrative method that is disconnected from the sense of time and space will make some audiences feel unable to fully engage. Of course, some parts of the script are really cheesy.
3, the actor's performance. The two fathers' acting skills are superb, and the love is so deep that it makes people cry. Michael Shannon as a very good actor can't play very well, and anyone can play it. As for Amy Adams, to me, it wasn't Lois Lane at all, and there was no chemistry with Henry Cavill, so their romance story felt pretty baffling. As for Henry Cavill, it's more about posing than acting, and it's also a matter of the script, and the dialogue hasn't said much about Clark Kent's little actors.
So it's not a perfect movie, but it's a qualified Superman movie. Personally feel better than The Dark Knight Rises.
===================================================== =========
Well, you know I love to complain:
1. What is the thing that locks up the Zod gang like, well, black dildo, you know me, I have a very dirty mind.
2. Patriotic speeches and images like Jesus are probably intended for bible belt audiences.
3. There are so many implanted advertisements. The part of saving the dog and sacrificing the father makes people speechless. Did PETA also sponsor it? ? ?
4. There is nothing after the subtitles, you can see LexCorp and Wayne Enterprises as easter eggs.

More than two hours of Nokia + Nikon advertising, Soder has a violent face from beginning to end. The rhythm is too slow to burn, the fighting scenes are too exaggerated, and the BGM likes it. The most comforting thing is that many well-known old stalks are kept intact. . . .

As a Superman movie, there is no need to say more about the plot, but the villain’s way of death may not be too crushing...

Man of Steel quotes

  • Clark Kent: My father believed that if the world found out who I really was, they'd reject me... out of fear.

[flashbacks show Clark telling Lois how Jonathan died in a tornado; Clark having to stand and watch because Jonathan told him not to use his powers to come to his aid]

Clark Kent: I let my father die because I trusted him. Because he was convinced that I had to wait. That the world was not ready. What do you think?

  • Jor-El: Goodbye, my son. Our hopes and dreams travel with you.

Lara Lor-Van: He will be an outcast. They'll kill him.

Jor-El: How? He'll be a god to them.
