Star Wars is a good series to learn from the past.
I recently finished watching the sixth season of The Clone Wars, and I just revisited the Revenge of the Sith. This is probably the most powerful part of the official Star Wars history. The sense of powerlessness in the face of history completely enveloped the audience's mind.
At the same time, it also updated the understanding of some characters, Darth Sidious should really win his empire, the Jedi Order has lived in peace for a thousand years, and their arrogance makes them forget about danger, especially on Mace Windu, his arrogance was used by Darth Sidious While his friend Yoda is shrouded in confusion, it is difficult to use the wisdom he possesses. If Yoda's strategy is a risky move, then using the arrogance that has been bred in Jedi Order for many years to lure the pure ideal and powerful Anakin into the dark side is Darth Sidious's most secure, long-term, and one-shot strategy.
Maybe after watching only six movies, you will feel that the two films, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, are not very closely connected. How did the former Anakin suddenly no longer trust Jedi Order? The Clone Wars series added details in a targeted manner, especially at the end of season five, when the departure of Anakin's lover Ahsoka became the most visible and jarring crack in the Stone of Trust.
The duel between Master and Apprentice and the duel between Sidious and Yoda in the film take place simultaneously at the edge and center of the galaxy, respectively. This part of the fight is also worthy of being the most exciting of the six Star Wars movies. The wonderful fight makes the audience focus on the characters again from the commanding heights of history. The sense of hierarchy is very three-dimensional and the tragedy is quite strong.
Lucas is awesome!
