I recently revisited Revenge of the Sith, and I am still very emotional about the fate of Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader).
As a promising Jedi Knight, the Chosen Son who was prophesied to balance the Force, in order to prevent the death of his wife Padmé and prevent her from suffering the same fate as his mother, Anakin chose to believe in Speaker Palpatine (also known as Speaker Palpatine). It is the lie of the later Emperor of the Galactic Empire, Darth Sidious): the dark side of the force can bring people back to life, and as long as Anakin relies on himself and cooperates with himself, he will definitely be able to develop a method of resurrection. Then he helped the Speaker to kill Master Windu as soon as his head became hot, completely breaking his way back.
Then he began to slaughter the Jedi Temple (even the young apprentices), turned his back on his beliefs, and arbitrarily believed that the Jedi Council wanted to overthrow the Republic just because Windu wanted to kill the Speaker to avoid future troubles. He also found an excuse to tell Padmé that he killed all the Jedi for the sake of the country's justice and glory, and even used the Force to lock her throat, which made Padmé extremely disappointed and gave up completely. It directly caused his wife to lose hope of life and pass away.
After going around in such a circle, he abandoned his beliefs, joined the Sith, and killed all the Jedi. In the end, it was because of all the "efforts" he had done that his lover died. It's not worth it. What Skywalker did was not only worthless for love, but also for his friendship with his teacher and good brother Obi-Wan. He completely tore his face with the Jedi and broke with Obi-Wan, which caused Obi-Wan to leave his anger and kill the door to clear the door. The two fought to the death on Mustapha. The arrogant Anakin faced Obi-Wan, who had already taken advantage of the high ground, and ignored the opponent's dissuasion and reckless attack. In the end, everyone knew that the master's skills were superior. The limbs of the son of prophecy were cut off by the lightsaber, the skin of the whole body, the handsome face was swallowed up by the raging flames, and he was completely reduced to a waste.
Taking refuge in the Sith not only made him lose his love and friendship. His inner conscience, faith, and the last bit of persistence as a hero of the Republic were all torn to shreds, and Darth Vader devoured him completely. What did Anakin get for all this? Did he really bring justice and glory to the country he fought for? He was wrong, very wrong. From the day the Galactic Empire was established, the invasion and expansion of the Empire and the revolutionary resistance of the people have been happening non-stop. Vader had to drag his wreckage and wear bulky black armor to quell waves of unsettled rebellions. Where is there any glory and peace, the people of the Galactic Empire are constantly struggling in the flames of war. In addition to the false name of Lord Vader, he is nothing more than a high-level thug around the emperor. Even the emperor was very wary of him. The two of them agreed to cooperate earlier to study how to use the force to resurrect, but they have long been forgotten.
At the end of the story, everyone knows that Vader, under the influence of his son Luke Skywalker, threw the Emperor into the Death Star's reactor, fulfilling the prophecy of balancing the Force. Incarnate as a Jedi heroic spirit, smiling Jiuquan. The ending was a happy one, but the process was still unforgettable. A former hero, who turned his back on everything he had, tried to stop fate but ultimately pushed the wheel of fortune. As the chosen son, he has to bear an Oedipus tragedy. While making people feel uneasy, they can't help but admire the wonderful conception of Star Wars screenwriter George Lucas. Perhaps, it is the duality of hymn and lament that gives Darth Vader its unique charm and enduring life. As a monument of character creation in film history, it is unforgettable and has influenced a generation. Another generation of creators.
