Survival Django - Too Much Survival Too Little Django

Xiao Lizi is an actor I like very much, with looks, acting skills and ideas. But as far as The Revenant is concerned, the acting skills he can perform are very limited. It's not his problem, but the role itself is too thin and simple. He only needs to be dirty and keep shaking and roaring. It was very nice at the beginning, especially the first battle with the Indians and the fight between Xiao Li and the bear, and the scene where Tom Hardy asked him to blink, which was heart-wrenching. But the middle part is too long. He repeatedly encountered similar problems and did some things that everyone has seen many times in Wilderness Survival. The dreams/hallucinations that appear many times are similar to Xiao Li's Shutter Island, but Shutter Island is obviously more tense and echoes more with the main line. I can see the weirdness of director Birdman. I don't like Birdman very much, but at least the characters' dialogue scenes are still interesting. I don't think this movie is as good as Birdman. It's the kind of movie that has a few good episodes but makes people drowsy between those good episodes and doesn't feel anything after watching it. In comparison, Tom Hardy's play is richer, although still a facial paralysis.

A movie that the entire crew suffers a lot. The harsh natural environment is the protagonist of this movie. The natural light photography and slow narrative rhythm are also trying to amplify the environment. The wild revenge logic of the western film makes the revenge itself change. It has to be simple and rude. The ten-sequence plays do not rush or slow down, and there are no amazing parts. The genre-based editing rhythm is expected, the best photographer Roger Diggins next year! ★★★
