The master director Sidney Rumet re-emerged, teamed up with Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman in 2006 and Ethan Howe, a literary film master who has gained a high reputation with films such as "Love Before Dawn". Ke, jointly created a fine literary and artistic film about crime. It tells that the two brothers are eager to make money and rob their parents’ jewelry store, thinking that insurance compensation and the proceeds of the robbery can be collected. The greed, cunning and weakness of human nature are fully demonstrated in this film. The film abandons the usual black humor of such subjects, and replaces it with a solemn context, with a deep temperament and profound meaning.
