The shocking work of the comic book adaptation film

Before watching "Sin City", I didn't know that this film was adapted from a well-known comic.
After watching the first 3 minutes, I confirmed that this is a manga adaptation.
I haven't seen such a bloody, violent, reckless, and beautiful cult film in a long time.
The image is black and white, only a few elements in the picture have bright colors, green pupils, bright red dresses and lips, silver pistols, red-striped sneakers, yellow eccentrics... all that stand out are pure colors, red , green, yellow, blue, silver... In a black and white image, these pure colors are even more shocking.
The women in the film are all sexy, scantily clad, armed with guns, katana swords, bows and arrows, and more, like goddesses coming out of the wild fantasies of men.
The men in the film staged the bloodiest and most brutal scenes of violence. Fists, swords, guns... the hands, feet, heads, internal organs, splattered human blood, dismembered corpses, raw cannibalism... that leave the human body... It's breathless to watch.
I don't know if I like this kind of film, is it also a bit perverted and evil. Although there are many bloody and cruel scenes, I only feel heart palpitations, but I don't feel disgusting (the blood in some horror movies really makes me feel sick).
Looking forward to the second and third installments of Sin City.

Sin City quotes

  • John Hartigan: I'm looking for Nancy Callahan.

Shellie: Eyes to the stage, pilgrim. She's just warming up.

  • [after being smacked in the jaw by Jackie Boy]

Bozo No. 1: [about Jackie Boy] He is generous. But that temper of his... you shouldn't have picked on him like you did. My temper, you don't have to worry about.

Shellie: [grabs a knife and points it at him] Shut up and keep your hands to yourself, or I'll cut your little pecker off.

Bozo No. 1: Woo! I been told!
