beauty of violence

This film by Robert Rodriguez is one of the rare good-looking films in recent years. What attracts me most is that the film's use of color is so restrained. In
the "Introduction" at the beginning of the film, a damp and dark On the rooftop of the building, a beautiful woman who escaped from the dance, with red lips and red dress, and golden hair, was surrounded by the deep darkness and sin of the city consisting of only black, white and gray. In the words of the film, You never know what she's running away from.
The dialogue is also very concise, restrained, and even the sound effects are very frugal. When the beauty is pierced by Josh Hartnett's bullet, you will have the illusion that the bullet pierced is actually your own heart. If the director didn't want to tell you, you'd never know the gun was actually silenced.
The killer embraces the dead prey, the camera pans and zooms out, the raindrops falling vertically and the rapidly rising virtual camera turn the entire dark city into a few blood-red letters of "Sin City", which is the title of the film and The place where the story takes place, the city of loneliness, confusion, love and primitive desire - Sin City.

The main part of the film tells us three stories. I believe that many film critics have said it, so I won't say it.

What I have to mention separately is the character Shirley, she is a barmaid, she appears in the bar where Marvin hangs out, and she is also the bar where Nancy dances, she is DeWitt's beloved woman, she connects three stories . Also a key character in the DeWitt story (the third story). Perhaps such a beautiful woman should be the root cause of crime.

I really don't know, when sin holds the sword of justice, life is the most vulnerable existence. In this sin-filled city, only love is immortal and can redeem the world. . . . . .

All in all, after watching it over and over again, I found that in the name of love, everything that exists becomes reasonable. It can be said that unswerving love is the only reason why these three stories exist and are reasonable.
