Film review "The Burst Drummer"

"Boom Drummer" is not purely inspirational, but tells a story purely about hatred.

I'm not very knowledgeable about movies and jazz. I'm just a beautiful girl who likes to watch movies occasionally, so I don't know anything about it. Straight to the point to share, what I see this film conveys.

It's not an inspirational film about "geniuses work so hard, what qualifications do you have to be lazy?", but a success story that uses hatred as nourishment one by one.

To put it mildly: no madness, no survival.

The protagonist Andrew, on the surface, is a shy 19-year-old boy with a blushing face, but in private there are many little-known appearances——

When humiliated by someone who can never be disobedient, he smashed his teeth and swallowed in his belly, but he had no intention of backing down, a squinting and stubborn donkey.

A scheming boy who competes maliciously for the opportunity and has an innocent face all the way.

Because of being poked at the sore spot, the dull appearance of the past disappeared completely, and he made a lot of nonsense at family dinners, biting people with sharp teeth.

The moment he broke up with his girlfriend on the grounds of "you will be my stumbling block", you can see a little bit of a scumbag on his shy face.

The high-speed drumming still felt like an epileptic seizure after the drumsticks had rubbed his hands to the point of blood.

After a car accident, he still stubbornly wanted to perform on stage. He grabbed the teacher by the collar and pushed him to the ground, like a bear child who would never give up without a toy.

And the wonderful solo scene at the end of the film, you see how he drowned in the drum beat, there are only two words in his mind - madman.

19 years old, for ordinary people, it is an age when self-awakening has not been long, and his mind is full of charming fantasies about the future. But why did Andrew become an out-and-out lunatic?

He became like this, and Fletcher contributed.

Fletcher has a bald head, wrinkled face, cow nose and fish eyes. His temperament is cloudy and sunny. He says that wind is rain. Not only is he a highly accomplished conductor, he is also a new era Zhuge Liang with first-class skills in cursing and coaxing people. The common method is to first fill a person's mouth with crunchy and sweet dates, and then whistle a few big mouths to fan the person until the jujube scum all over the sky. He is the world's first shaker.

However, his act of rubbing people round and flat is not an euphemistic name, but also an act of cultivating genius.

He said one of the lines that stuck with me the most - "There's nothing more harmful in English than 'good job'."

Here is what I want to say.

People start practicing an instrument, or a sport, often out of interest and fun.

However, the fun is definitely not permanent, just look at the children who just started pestering their parents to learn the piano, and they just sat in the piano shop and screamed in two days.

Wouldn't it be more fun to sit on the sofa and eat tomato-flavored potato chips, or play with the little beauty with braided horns, instead of playing at the piano who only knows how to do re mi?

This is also the reason for the "three-minute popularity" that people often say. When you see others being happy or flourishing in one thing, you will be eager to try. But if you get a little deeper into it, you will find that if you want to do it perfectly, you must spend a lot of time and energy repeating a seemingly meaningless act - such as Leonardo da Vinci painting eggs.

Therefore, most people choose the fun of children scribbling on paper with crayons, and give up the fun of becoming famous after three years of drawing eggs. They still don't understand that all the beautiful scenery is the result of hard work. I also don't understand, the real fun is to play for a long time and feel it carefully.

The blockbuster dream shattered here.

There are definitely people who will use survival as a sophistry to retort me aggressively, denying that they lost their dreams because of laziness-

At first glance, you are a little girl. I don't know that you need money for firewood, rice, oil and salt. Without money, how can you support your so-called dreams? If you want money, where do you have time to chase your dreams? Besides, what is the use of dreams, can they be spent as money?

Yes, the dream is full, and the reality is very skinny. But in the world, there is a life like a good figure with even bones and thin muscles. The reason is that they are smart, hardworking, and have some good luck. Apart from these, these people have very different personalities.

But without exception, among these people, there is no one who regards making a living as an excuse to be lazy.

I think about it, if you really want to realize your dream, then there are two ways:

1. usual

Make executing your dream something like brushing your teeth, eating, or even blinking your eyes and breathing, and you don't feel quite right if you don't do it.

Day after day, even the mentally handicapped can become a great god.

It's just that you have to be like a mentally retarded person who can watch a snail crawling for a day, play in the mud and have fun - even the most boring thing can laugh on all fours.

And you have to have fun with the mundane thing of "executing your dreams", and having fun is always the most important thing.

There is a saying in the bad street: don't forget the original intention, only then can you stay forever. Your dreams start with fun and have fun with it.

Without fun, executing a dream really becomes brushing your teeth.

Ascetic monks never feel pain for their cultivation.

2. Obsession

Hatred or happiness, which is more profound?

Are you happy? Well, then tell me, why is it said that the friendship between gentlemen is like water, but it is not too late for a gentleman to take revenge?

What is more precious, what is not obtained or what is obtained?

can you answer? Well, tell me, why is the red rose you got turned into mosquito blood in an instant, while your old lover always shines into your heart like a white moonlight?

Discrimination or friendliness, which is more growth-enhancing?

Are you equal? Well, then tell me, why does the national anthem of our country sing - rise up, people who don't want to be slaves, but not - eat sugar, we want to be a country of friendship?

Desperate situations can often bring out the greatest potential of a person.

The so-called "intentionally planting flowers will not bloom, inadvertently planting willows and willows to make shade." People, just can't live too comfortably.

Look at cockroaches and mice, people shouting and beating across the street, why are their numbers increasing in such an environment, and they have survived from such a barbaric era a long time ago, have you ever thought about why?

Moreover, they will continue to grow savagely and endlessly, sneaking into every corner of the streets and countryside to watch carefully, and when human beings perish, maybe they will become the overlords of one party.

Francher in the film cultivates a genius by virtue of this.

Contempt, malice, insults, embarrassment, ridicule, competition, neglect, loss and gain, gain and loss, over and over again.

Asking for nothing, one of the eight sufferings in the world, Francher squeezes the inferiority of human beings and turns them around.

And Andrew did not let him down, he survived a desperate situation and became a genius.

It was obviously a success, why did the director say the movie was a tragedy?

I don't know if you have heard a word - the stubborn loser.

The original intention is lost, where is it suitable?

Many people disapprove of Francher's approach to education, which reminds me of the downright idealist teacher Keating in Dead Poets Society, who is very different from Francher.

Poetic, sensual and romantic, he lectures in a unique way. This has greatly incited a group of young people who are not more serious but full of blood.

One of the young people is called Neil. After Mr. Keating came to teach here, he finally emerged on the stage and found his dream. Mr. Keating has always inspired him.

But the night he was told by his father that his dream would never come true, he committed suicide.

Who can say that this teacher has no responsibility at all? Although he is just asking young people to pursue their dreams.

This tells us that it is unwise to educate the extreme left and the right. A moderate teacher who does his due diligence and gives his students a correct view of right and wrong is the best educator.

In fact, watching this film, my only regret is that I don't understand jazz...

What I was most looking forward to was the scolding of French...

The ending is very interesting. Franker's scheming and Andrew's counterattack add another spark to the movie. No more spoilers here!
