The characteristics of horror movies:
1. Only in horror movies, the protagonist is in an absolute disadvantaged position of weakness and powerlessness.
2. No horror movie's protagonist is evil or negative.
3. Horror movies contain the idea of "invincible evil". This may be the source of gloom, depression and terror.
We watch horror movies by no means to see how the protagonist escapes from the clutches or counter-attack in the end. We want to experience the panic and discomfort of the imminent disaster from the helpless death and the desperate escape process of the protagonist. Then why do we like pain? In the fear of death on the verge of death, in the complete loss of control of reason, there must be temptation; it is embedded in instinct like lust, unreasonable. Perhaps there has never been a real horror movie, because no matter how many people die, the most damned one, or the protagonist we most hope to die always escapes. The horror was dispelled, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and continued to live well.
Let's go back to the movie "Ghost Ship", a deserted Italian luxury cruise ship named "Antonia Glaser", so a little new idea comes from here. The cruise ship disappeared without a trace after a voyage in 1962, until 40 years later, it mysteriously reappeared in the Bering Strait. A rescue team led by Gabriel Byrne and Juliana Marquelis set out to investigate, and all bad luck began. Everything found on the high seas belongs to the discoverer. So more than N people began to salvage the sunken ship on the high seas. When the pilot photographed the Anthony, the expedition began. However, these people whose eyes were dazzled by gold died one by one. Ignoring the ghost girl’s warnings repeatedly, in the end, she could only perish herself. Seeing this famous work that reminds me of Jin Yong, it seems to be "Liancheng Jue", but in the end, it is also facing the so-called wealth, showing all kinds of ugliness of people. The treasure on the ship should belong to the sea, and it should be returned to the sea. However, there are always people plundering again and again. The greed of these people is used by something that I can't tell you who claims to be the soul savior, and they kill each other again and again.
In fact, when I first saw a ship of people cut off by a steel wire, I thought it was like death is coming, but when I went back, I discovered that it was not a natural disaster, but a man-made disaster.
In the end, the ship sank, and the soul of a ship could be said to have been redeemed, but in my opinion, the end of the film indicates that the matter is far from over. As long as the human heart still has greed, the person who bought the soul will live forever.
The so-called sin is forgiven by heaven; you cannot live if you do sin by yourself.
