In general, the movie "The Hobbit" is worthy of the ticket price, although I basically can't feel any 3D effect except for the subtitles, and the villains in the plot are a bit baffling. Yes, the director's ambition to make a series like The Lord of the Rings is obvious. However, under the various gorgeous special effects of this film, the values that the director wanted to convey through the film still touched me.
The protagonist Baggins was initially reluctant to join the dwarves' return to their homeland. He was content with his peaceful and comfortable life, rather than risking his life to take part in the adventure. Gandalf said to him: "The world is not in books or maps, but outside your window." People cannot close themselves in a circle, and at least when they are young, they should go to the outside world to see more, even if it is possible. There will be many dangers and unknown things, but at least when we are old, we can proudly say to the younger generation when we face the younger generation, I used to burn with passion when I was young, and every scar on my body is God for me. The medal bestowed by a splendid life, I have a legend that others cannot replicate, and I die without regrets.
When the immortal Mrs. xx asked Gandalf why he chose Baggins, a hobbit who seemed to know nothing, to join the dwarves, Gandalf replied: He has a heart of kindness and compassion, and I always have this adventure. Worried, and he gave me courage. Gandalf was not disappointed, and it was the dumb-looking hobbit who rescued the dwarf leader when Thorin was knocked down by the orcs to be decapitated. This actually promotes the consistent American values, that is, the so-called hero does not need to have all kinds of magical powers. As long as they can stand up bravely at critical moments, every ordinary person can become a hero. Reminds me of an advertisement from the public: everyone who surpasses himself is a superman. To save the world, it is not something that a few great heroes can accomplish through war and killing. It requires everyone to do it with love and forgiveness. Therefore, you and I are both builders and defenders of this world. As long as we have love and courage in our hearts, the future of this world will be full of hope regardless of our ability.
