Everyone has a Clockwork Orange

Clockwork Orange.
It's probably been a long time since I finished watching a movie in such a short time.
Gao Xiaosong's bar scene in "When the Flowers Blossoms", the plastic model seems to be borrowed from this master movie.

The first is the protagonist Alex. In the beginning, close-up eyes, close-up face. It was nothing more than proclaiming the word "evil" in advance.
A. The storyline
tells their life first, crazy and not burdened with moral primitives.
Later, for the betrayal of the gang, Alex goes to jail.
What he lived was to hold a book as a false Christian under the guise of serenity, piety and hypocrisy, and then imagine the bloody war and lustful life in ancient Rome.
Then there is the hospital.
discharge. After a violent medical treatment, Alix, who regained his freedom, lost his ability to be sexual and violent. This is nothing more than depriving him of the joy of life.
In turn, he will begin to suffer. Endure the torture of accomplices who are already police officers. The misfortune of life lies in this "medical man" who has regained his freedom.
b. Politics and Violence
In this society, the evil man Alex who was released early is already a partisan campaign and a tool of exploitation under the state apparatus.
Even in this postmodern movie, Bucurik never forgets his mockery of government agencies.
Undoubtedly, the government, the institution, and this individual Alexis are equally evil. In this society, the pursuit of "power" is constantly expanding like a flying balloon.
And violence, the symbols inside: blood and sex. The ubiquitous suggestion of sexual violence, followed by killing and beating to the blood, Aoki and heart-pounding.
C. Form
theatrical sense. In the movie, there are many scenes that do not pursue authenticity. Instead, in a deserted and desolate place, the action plot such as violence has the rhythm of a stage play.
Movie soundtrack. Such a great movie, another joy in the life of this evil Alexis is to sing classical music, sing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
In the Ninth Symphony, Alex heard a hellish world full of darkness and violence.
This is the film's interpretation of the music. The musical abstraction adds even more tension to the film's imagination.
D. Preference for Certain Symbols
I've seen Alex's evil eyes several times on the cover of the DVD version.
It seems to be reminiscent of "Underground", which is also unconventional and imaginative. It's just that as we experience more and more, our brains become less and less imaginative.
Is it as someone suggested that Alex's evil is actually libido, and after many geniuses turned this into the creation of art, he went to the other extreme.

Leader's question.
Of Alex's four. As the leader, Alex has never let go of his absolute control.
When someone has his own idea and starts to rebel against such a rule, Alex obviously can't shake his position.
Here, the leading role played by a person is embodied in absolute control over "ideas" and "ideas".
The brain is also a weapon of violence.

In the world of the film, classical music like Beethoven is given the status that pop music can only have in "our real world". They went to play classical music as common as the "mouse loves rice" we heard walking down the street. Although this is just Bukuric's own preference for classical music, and the performance in the film. But if the reality is so. How is that supposed to be fun?

Our treatment of faults, people who are in fault, and humanity are far more filthy than what we pretend to be. The coexistence of ugliness and virtue is our human nature. Any so-called absolute morality that opposes human nature is worse than any sin. Be ugly. The film style is restless and humorously cruel, watch it carefully.

I am completely healed! I can't count how many times I've watched it, but in a sense, this is my movie bible~

A Clockwork Orange quotes

  • Chief Guard Barnes: Are you able to see the white line painted on the floor directly behind you, Six-Double-Five-Three-Two-One?

    Alex: Yes, sir.

Chief Guard Barnes: Then your toes belong on the *other* side of it!

  • [Alex chats up two girls sucking penis-shaped lollies]

Alex: Enjoying that are you my darlin'? Bit cold and pointless isn't it my lovely? What's happened to yours my little sister?
