Avengers 2: Age of Ultron

A very good last 45 minutes of the film saved what was a disappointing and weak start to the film. The beginning of the film feels too episodic filled with dull jokes and a series of events that are forced together. Thankfully, the last portion of the film has the Avengers revert back to their brilliancy with all the action and quirkiness we've come to expect from our super heroes. I am however, as a comic book fan, not a huge fan of all the changes made to the character and lore of Ultron. As an important enemy in the Marvel Universe, the original story was much better. Definitely excited to see more of Wanda as she grows stronger and stronger.

Hollywood dreams remain the same. It is commendable that the first shot at the beginning, the thrilling and smooth motion design of the lens, a large number of low-angle and super close-up explanations make people react quickly and enter the plot almost immediately. (That slow speed is a bit silly, but it’s for Thor.) The story mode is still the same. Anyway, it’s switching between fighting and amusement or emotional development, which is very suitable for going to the movie theater without a brain.

Avengers: Age of Ultron quotes

  • Wanda Maximoff: You keep stealing, you're going to get shot!... I mean it! At speed, nothing can touch you, but standing still...

  • Tony Stark: [on Ultron] Look, we both know the guy has anger issues. Which, not to point a finger...

Bruce Banner: [looks at Tony] We told him to solve the world.
