As many netizens said, throwing a liberal arts student like me in a deserted place, I can't help myself.
Such a sci-fi movie is destined to have a grand scene and superb effects. Watching IMAX shows that when Matt performed surgery on himself, he couldn't bear to look directly, and it hurts just to hear the sound! As a liberal arts student, watching such a film is really brain-burning, even a bit boring.
Planting potatoes, solving the problem of water, what kind of kinetic energy celestial body, I sighed after watching the whole film, this is a movie for science and engineering men.
The most moving part of the whole film is when Lieutenant Colonel grabbed Matt's hand in the sky, he was moved to tears. Our poor Matt is finally back in the arms of Earth.
In the end, it turned out that the Chinese female official was played by Chen Shu. The changes were too great. Forgive me for not recognizing it.

Rick Martinez: How's it looking over there, Watney?

Mark Watney: Well, you will be happy to hear that in Grid Section 14-28, the particles were predominately coarse but in 29, they're much finer and they should be ideal for chem analysis.

Rick Martinez: Oh, wow. Did everybody hear that? Mark just discovered dirt.

    [laughs]

Rick Martinez: Should we alert the media?

  • Bruce Ng: Mars' atmosphere is so thin, by the time the ship's going fast enough for air resistance to matter, it'll be high enough that there's practically no air.

Vincent Kapoor: You want to send him into space under a tarp?

Bruce Ng: Yes... Can I go on?

    Vincent Kapoor: [frustrated look] NO.
