Serious afterthoughts about "The Martian"

I went to watch the cute "Mars Rescue", it's really the best-looking work released in theaters recently~ In addition to get learning mathematics, physics and chemistry, I'm not afraid that it turns out to be a cosmic theorem, and I've been stunned all the way. All kinds of professional vocabulary leave a little curiosity, the reason is that this film is very friendly to the general audience. The cute classmates are not only funny but also amazing in action. They are the masters of human positive energy and wisdom. Hard science fiction has always crushed the maliciousness of the audience's IQ.
Although the whole movie is full of scientific details that can open a whole class, there are two things that impress me the most. One is that the cute and cuddly classmates are hungry and skinny and have the strength to think about the meaning of maritime law to him. The dignified engineering man actually has the time to study this, and the Indian friend who saved him can immediately get his brain hole, indicating that this is a very common phenomenon? According to the details, it can be inferred that today's science and engineering men are not nerds who only focus on the laboratory? Hmm...it's very likely...
Second, the cute classmate pulled back an ancient satellite and communicated with the earth. Of course, the whole film is full of "it's not enough if an ordinary person dies 10,000 times" The details, but this point especially made me reflect on myself, yes, although I will not die 10,000 times, it is not a pity, but my point is neither planting potatoes nor making water, it is such a small event to find lost and tattered. To complete this event, you must first know that there is such a satellite, secondly, you must know the exact location of this thing, and again you must overcome all difficulties to pull it back. Finally, you must have such a basic friend who has the same mind as you, and these two will only shake their heads. The ultra-delay camera is used, and when I see this, my knees are broken and I am at a loss for words.
The inspiration from the above two points alone is that no matter which direction of knowledge exploration is carried out, an understanding of the overall scientific, cultural and political process of mankind is indispensable, and the historical progress of a single discipline should also be studied in depth. Only on the shoulders of human collective intelligence can we better understand the potatoes in our hands and the codes on the screen.

The most exciting thing is Mark's survival experience on Mars, defeating the impossible one by one. American heroism is on the air again, but because of the foreshadowing and rhythm of the previous details, it is vulgar but not lacking in moving. The photographic texture still maintains the RS style, and the rest of the emotional portrayal is extremely concise. Good-looking, but not meaningful. 3.5 stars.

You all thought I was dead, but I was alive and well

The Martian quotes

  • Vincent Kapoor: [Reading and citing from the panels that Mark put in front of the camera of the Pathfinder Mars robot] "'Are you receiving me? Yes - no.'

    [to Tim]

Vincent Kapoor: OK, point the camera at 'yes'."

Tim Grimes: 32-minute round trip communications time, all he can do is yes/no questions and all we can do is point the camera. This won't exactly be an Algonquin round table of snappy repartee.

  • Melissa Lewis: [from deleted scene] Where have you been sleeping?

    Rick Martinez: In airlock 2.

    Beth JohanssenChris BeckAlex Vogel: WHAT!

Rick Martinez: It's the only place where I can sleep without anyone tripping me, so.

Alex Vogel: Do you understand how dangerous that is? If one seal breaks you die.

Melissa Lewis: From now on you'll sleep in Beck's room.

Chris Beck: Where am I going to sleep?

    Melissa Lewis: With Johanssen.

    Chris Beck: Um, uh.

    [chuckles]

    Chris Beck: [Johanssen looks surprised]

Melissa Lewis: Knock it off Beck. It's a small ship I know everything.

    Beth Johanssen: Are you mad?

Melissa Lewis: If this was a normal mission you'd be breaking about thirty rules. But this isn't a normal mission.

Rick Martinez: And a few world records too.. WHAT'S UP!

    [Shakes Beck's and Johanssen's hands]

Rick Martinez: Your gonna leave me hanging? You're going to leave me hanging? Getting down in space?
