about drugs. This can't be a film with a happy ending, what I like very much is that it's not sensational, there's nothing too dramatic, it's not bloody, and it's cool like a documentary. So I didn't cry when I saw it at the end, but it was very painful, and I felt a deep sense of powerlessness. Why do drug addicts decide to start using drugs? Normal people don’t understand. I used to think that as long as I rely on willpower, I can quit drugs, but once I was depressed once, I began to feel awe. People are so small, even if they completely control their own body, they can’t do it. There are no bad people in the film. Except for drug use, everyone is a good person, but drugs destroy everyone. They have dreams of love and friendship, but in the end they lost everything. The movie doesn't tell how they got the drugs, it's just a small pill handed over by a friend after a party. Once it starts, it is enough to destroy everything, and in the end nothing matters anymore. The most innocent person in the film is probably the male protagonist's mother, who just dreamed of being on TV and wanted to lose weight. Because she couldn't lose weight, she was prescribed pills containing drugs by an unscrupulous doctor. The most touching thing in the film is that when the male protagonist made some money by relying on drugs, he bought a big TV for his mother, and came back to watch his mother, what his mother said to him,
”I'm somebody now, Harry. Everybody likes me. Soon, millions of people will see me and they'll all like me. I'll tell them about you, and your father, how good he was to us. Remember? It's a reason to get up in the morning. It's a reason to lose weight, to fit in the red dress. It's a reason to smile. It makes tomorrow all right. What have I got Harry, hmm? Why should I even make the bed, or wash the dishes? I do them, but why should I? I'm alone. Your father's gone, you're gone. I got no one to care for. What have I got, Harry? I'm lonely. I'm old. Now when I get the sun, I smile.".
I'm old, I'm lonely. Everyone always has such a day, old and lonely, if you lose your sustenance, even if there is no drug, will there be other things that will make you addicted, let yourself fall into it step by step Extricate yourself? Everyone is lonely, and everyone has times when they can't do anything. If they don't know what they want, they can't refuse what they don't want.
