With you all the way - movie review of companionship

"Unreachable" (French) is indeed a very warm film, similar to "Afternoon with Margaret" (French). Then I thought of the similar films "Scent of a Woman" (US), "Rain Man" (US), and "Kiujiro's Summer" (Japan), and found that different countries have their own distinct characteristics in performing similar themes.

I don't know how to categorize these movies, so let's call them "accompanying" movies for now. They all have some similar characteristics. The weak need the temporary care of the strong. During the process of getting along with each other, various stories happened, and they learned some truths from each other, and then their souls were sublimated and so on. The storyline is generally slow, focusing more on

the plot setting and the interpretation of the characters' feelings.

"Untouchable" (French) feels that the whole movie is a commoner who uses his own optimism and simplicity to infect the delicate, sensitive and sentimental nobles. Although in the movie, the scenes such as laughing at the theater and laughing at the ornate letters are very funny, and have a great sense of breaking the high-rise spring and white snow, but it is also disrespectful to art and literature, which makes the film lack depth. This can be seen from the fact that the black people did not learn anything from the nobles, and it is estimated that they cannot understand. There are a lot of luxurious enjoyments: gorgeously decorated mansions, elegant western restaurants, skydiving...

In the storyline, I fell into The fragmented pattern is to use multiple stories to juxtapose, and there is no obvious coherent plot development between each story, so it is very easy to tell the story (this is how I wrote the essay for the college entrance examination, syllogism...), but the feelings of the characters are not. The obvious change, watching the paralyzed brother from beginning to end with an elegant smile and helpless anger is really worrying.

There are also obvious French characteristics in the film, aristocratic culture-romantic elegance, black culture-hip-hop music, dance, the two impact each other.

"Smell the Fragrance and Know a Woman" (US) If nothing else, the suave and suave Al Pacino is enough to prop up a show. Although American film lacks the accumulation of background, it has an advantage, which is the maturity of its film industry. Hollywood companies' decades of pipeline operation, as well as the collection of audience feedback and analysis of market data, have developed a mature story structure to meet the needs of audiences and the market. There are very few storylines like "Unreachable". Problems with unreasonable arrangements and incoherent emotional clues of characters. Although "Smell the Fragrance and Know a Woman" is also a product of the assembly line, using the old-fashioned eight-strand template, the characters in the story are reasonable and in line with the audience's taste.

"Summer of Kikujiro" is a very spiritual film, which can be classified as a road movie. Road movie stories are better arranged, referring to Journey to the West, the protagonist goes through customs and fights monsters all the way (encountering various stories), and finally reaches the destination (emotional sublimation). In the play, the rude middle-aged uncle Kijiro accompanies Xiao Zhengta to find his mother. During the summer road trip in Japan, he meets all kinds of interesting people, and the uncle is finally moved by Zhengtai's innocent innocence. Because the Japanese people's emotions are reserved and restrained, the fluctuations of emotions are suppressed under the calm appearance. Instead, the problem of "Unreachable" that is sometimes deliberately provocative and excessively superficial can be avoided.

Similar themes include "Sister Peach" (Hong Kong) and "Ocean Paradise" (Mainland), which are relatively popular recently. I won't analyze it because I haven't read it.
