After watching two Pixar films in a row, one is "Dream" and the other is "Robots", and I like both films. So, I just watched this Monsters, Inc., but I really didn't like the story.
First of all, the setting of this "Monster Power Company" is to let these monsters scare children. The higher the decibels of the children's screams after being frightened, the higher the power the company can obtain to maintain the development of this power company. a new energy source.
. . .
I don't like this setting very much, although the movie came back later. After getting along with the little girl in a series, the hair monster felt that it was a bad thing to intimidate these cute children in order to gain the development of the power company.
Later, they also discovered that the children's laughter had more energy than screams. There's really a sense of forcing the circle, after all, they're still taking advantage of these kids.
Well, don't worry about that.
Also, the little girl in the film is very unpleasant. I don't like this little girl very much.
Also, if I were Mike, I would be very, very disappointed with the furry monster, and I don't feel like I'm good friends with him.
In this movie, I feel that friendship is the cheapest thing. Does the hairy monster treat this little girl as a lover or a daughter, or what? His sense of responsibility is so overwhelming that I feel a little exaggerated. Many times it is difficult for me to understand, and I feel that I am really the one-eyed little green Mike.
