And Carl, who hunted him down and spent Christmas with him, worked for him like a father, and regarded him as his own family. Carl is the only person Frank can talk to on the run, the only person who can tell the truth, the only person who can make a phone call at Christmas. Frank was in prison, Carl said that he stopped by, but carefully prepared Christmas gifts. From hunting down Frank for several years, to applying for humanitarian aid for Frank, treating juvenile delinquents, guarantoring his release from prison, and working in the FBI, Carl wanted to save Frank, a lost child. In the end, Carl ignored Frank because of his busy work. Frank repeated his tricks and escaped from the FBI, but he chose to come back silently. He understands that although the FBI office has no freedom, there is only one person who cares about him, and he cannot lose it.
Frank's IQ is excellent, he has excellent criminal ability, a wealth of money, and a lot of games, but he only lacks a father's love. All he does is to return to the warm family life when he was a child. But the vision was ruthlessly trampled on by reality after all. Carl knew the sorrow in his heart and took on the responsibility of a loving father, so that Frank's heart had a home and no longer wandered.
I'd love to say to you: You're a silly kid like frank, but I know you'll be back.
