Big Brother says McKinsey is an idiot, but that doesn't mean he's wrong.
Genius has a stronger sense of honor. He gets anxious when his classmates are publishing papers, and when he first serves his country, he feels -- what does he feel? He was proud of his service to the country, he had contributed to the free world; but he was nervous that he had joined the power machine, and he knew he was going to become some kind of evil.
So, he splits beautifully ~ Big Brother can fulfill his hidden desire to be a hero, and Big Brother can also become a symbol of evil to keep him right in the power struggle.
I believe a lot of people really need Big Brother.
