Personally, I think it's a bit like Star Trek 1. Although there are some obvious flaws in the clothes and green cloth, I have to say that it is not easy to achieve full-size dinosaurs in 1993. No matter the script or the shooting, it should be a milestone in the history of science fiction movies. The works should not be judged by the current standards at all. And its themes make us ponder even now. The laws of nature's survival and evolution for millions of years will not be changed by the high-end technology possessed by human beings. Like other animals living on the earth, human beings must understand how small they are in front of nature, and learn to fear rather than find ways to conquer them. Otherwise it will only backfire. It's really ironic to think about Dr. Hammond's classic old saying Spare no expense!
