"The chariots and drums rock and roll, and the apocalyptic wasteland is rampant."
In the business district of a small city outside the third-tier city, there is a huge advertisement poster of a certain perfume hanging on a department store, which is taken from Charlize Theron's endorsement of " True Me" 10th anniversary commercial.
In the poster, Goddess Theron is dressed in a long golden dress and looks into the distance with her left hand holding her head, and the graceful curve extends from the top of her head to her toes. When commuting to and from get off work and encountering traffic jams in the commercial area, I occasionally catch a glimpse of it, and while reluctantly enduring the traffic jam, I wonder if this poster of the 40-year-old real goddess has PS.
Now this huge poster has been replaced with three or four advertising frames, and the goddess Theron is still here. In the second part, "Blood and Name", let's talk about the "fury" played by the goddess in this film.
As
early as May, when the domestic film market "Reunion" and "Fast 7" were arguing, there was a lot of news about "Mad Max: Fury Road". Reports such as "The whole movie is full of climaxes, and "Fast 7" is a motherfucker by comparison" flooded the media.
There is a scene in "Mad Max: Fury Road" that I have watched many times over and over again. Not long after the opening scene, Undead Joe is getting ready to go after Furious Ji, when Max is tied to the front of a chariot. Max muttered to himself madly and said, "Drain my blood and drive my car." At this time, the drums of war suddenly started, and the camera moved from the iron chain wrapped around the blood vessel to the rear of the chariot, and the fire-breathing chariot rode completely. The dashing shot falls behind the rock chariot again. The long shot goes from the four drummers at the back of the chariot to the front of the chariot. The army was in sight.
I've watched this long shot many times, but I've listened to this eager and angry drum beat many times.
Tom Hardy, who likes to dream big, finally took off the "Bane respirator" full of saliva at this time, but was tied to a 60-70-mile car in the scorching sun and sand. If you want to ask why Max is crazy in the show, first ask how Tom Hardy feels when he is tied to a car and covered in sand.
As a reboot, the director spent less than ten minutes explaining to the audience the environment of the apocalyptic wasteland and how the crazy protagonist Max got involved in this crazy mess. Just like the "Star Wars" series, "Terminator" series, and "Jurassic" series that were also restarted this year, the big environment and the background of the chaotic times are set, and the stories in it are naturally endless.
The only thing that is needed or needed is the support of the box office and the word of mouth of the audience. In this special summer movie month, I have to say, thank you for such a real market economy and such a real movie market. A future new Mad Max is in the works.
Blood-red lightning storms, golden flames and explosions, blue apocalypse nights, and a proportional picture of the steering wheel LOGO and a single hero appear.
The 70-year-old director George Miller used more than 80% of non-computer-generated special effects to show the world a hundred and twenty minutes of chariots and drums, and the apocalyptic wasteland was violent.
Blood and Name
Part II may contain spoilers.
In less than ten minutes at the beginning, the audience learned about the lack of various resources in this wasteland world. The younger brothers of the big boss, Undead Old Joe, in this film are all pale skinned, with dry lips, sunken eye sockets, and full of morbidity. Presumably not only lacks the vitamin ABCDEFG, but everything but twisted beliefs.
So Max became their "blood bag" after being caught.
The heroine of this film is the broken-arm general "Furiosa" played by Charlize Theron. Personally, I think her English name is "Furiosa" Furiosa. It sounds better, hereinafter referred to as Fury. Fury had asked Max's name in order to pass the pass, but Max didn't tell her.
The Max in the film is an out-and-out lunatic, of course everyone has to be crazy to survive in the apocalyptic environment. But Max's madness is different from that of ordinary people. Max is mad because of others, and others are mad for themselves. Because of Max's actions, his wife, children and some innocent people were killed. This is similar to Lord Kratos in the series of "God of War". His wife and children, as well as those innocent people who died because of him, will always be Max's nightmare and his guardian.
And why Fury, as the big boss under the immortal old Joe's banner, wanted to escape, on the one hand, to liberate the "assets" of Lao Qiao, who was also a woman, on the other hand, she missed the home that she had been away from for more than 7,000 days and nights, the mothers green space.
But after learning that the emeralds were gone, the anger was completely broken. Fortunately, the director and screenwriter arranged Max for Fury, Max gave Fury a blood transfusion, Max told Fury his name, and Max helped Fury conquer the world. Then Max left alone.
As the protagonist and clue of this wasteland world, Max is destined to become a tragic hero when he goes crazy. Max still has many people to meet, many things to do, and many stories to tell. So Max finally had to leave.
The third protagonist in the whole film is a younger brother of Undying Old Joe, who was limped by Undying Joe's tricks, and a typical example of being sold and helping to count the money.
This super-killing fanatic has not only brought blood to fury, but, as the title suggests, fury on the road.
In the end, I have to mention the immortal old Joe. Judging by his body shape, this old man is not young, but his imposing manner is still the same.
He can be fooled when he comes to power, he can chase people while driving, he is affectionate and righteous to women, and he has many ruthless characters. Even if one of the generals is a little bit nasty, it can't hide the heroic demeanor of the old Joe's generation.
Of course, the most commendable is the eight-sided war drum rock chariot and the elastic red guitar brother under the command of Old Joe.
It is better to say that the old director George Miller is too talented.
