the power of faith

Many people find faith out of reach when they hear it. But we all have beliefs. This belief is not necessarily true, and we may not be aware of it, but it must exist. Like most of us believe that tomorrow the sun will rise in the east, we will wake up the next day, our parents love us, we are straight or gay or bi, and my math is not good. Well, we'll all be fine until we grow up, or I'm a failure. These beliefs or subconscious minds govern our actions almost entirely, and who we are is defined by our actions.

Everyone may say this is a bit unbelievable, but for example, we are told by the doctor that we are terminally ill and will not live for long. This belief will completely change the way we live, and thus the trajectory of our lives. Therefore, some people say that only when life and death are at stake can we see the true face of a person. This is the truth. Only at this time can we truly be honest with ourselves, others, and life.

Hollywood's most famous character of faith is Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story (1995). Buzz Lightyear was a devout religious believer when he was first bought from the store. He considers himself a great fighter, the savior of the universe. People of faith are attractive because they seem to know how to live and know their destiny very well. Faithful lifestyle is also very attractive, because this kind of life is very pure, you can eliminate many distractions and do not have to think about many things. And when faith is strong enough, miracles are indeed possible. With this belief, Buzz Lightyear "flyed" in front of everyone and easily became the leader of toys.

It is like a young couple in "Revolutionary Road". When they were young, they always thought that they were special compared to others, so one learned to act, the other did not feel like a failure even as a cashier, and it was this belief that made them both love each other. (Actually, Frank has more faith than April, because April's feeling good about himself is supported by his dream of being an actor, and Frank has no confidence in himself at all.) But when they finished their single life, they gave birth to children and bought a house. After looking for a job, I realized that I was not as special as they thought.

When their beliefs collapsed, they began to feel that life was meaningless and their marriages had problems. So they set out to find a new faith: to go to Paris to start a new life. When April and Frank believe their lives are about to change, their lives really change - Frank no longer fears work, and his performance is appreciated by his boss; April no longer feels that life is dull, the two of them The relationship begins to improve, especially when they start having sex eagerly after seeing the envious eyes of their neighbors.

It can be seen that faith can change our real life state.

The essence of almost all religious beliefs is love. And each of us, admit it or not, needs love. We want to be recognized, we want to get ahead, we want to make money, and so on, we all want love. But being loved doesn't depend on being loved: because if we don't believe we're loved, no matter how much love we actually get, it won't help us. It is possible to be loved only if we believe in ourselves to be loved. Religion is about helping people improve their ability to believe in being loved. And the stronger our faith, the more love we receive . Conversely, the lower our faith, the less love we receive.
