Despite the recurring psychic thrillers in the film, the timid me was not intimidated. The reason is Haley, who plays the little boy. I saw "Artificial Intelligence" starring him before, and I was really impressed.
In the church, he prayed with tears in his eyes, "God, I cry to you in the abyss!" It reminded me of that little robot in the depths of the sea, and it was also praying and calling again and again.
At the end of the film, when the little boy finally opened his heart to his mother and understood and embraced his mother, I was reminded of the little robot that longed for maternal love.
His eyes are so pure and clear, as if they can penetrate the human soul. So, if he is really psychic, I wouldn't be surprised at all.
So, timid I completely forgot that this is a horror suspense movie. There is only this little guy who is overflowing with maternal love in his eyes.
